Why? Bit masochistic isn't it.

I'm sure TB will do some good business, I hope we continue to invest for the future, andmaintain the depth and strength to continue our current trajectory.

can definitely see a new right back. we also don’t need to invest that much in a new left back who’ll just be cover. in fact, the ideal scenario would be to buy a player who can cover both left centre back and left back

Van Hecke has publicly said he doesn't want another loan....

"For other clubs, it is now also becoming interesting, because I will be relatively cheap to take over. It will probably be another transfer window in which I am glued to the phone.

"Renting (being loaned out) out is out of the question. That has happened twice, but then you are just acclimatised and you have to leave again. I’m done with that.”

Wow these are interesting quotes. We must have told him we are dumping him and don't want much money then ?

His contract is up next month, but we have a year extension option. Can’t see him willing to sign a new deal, as assume he wants to play more.

I also don’t think he suits RDZ’s style either.

I reckon we will try and offload one of or both of Lamptey and Webster if we can, both constantly injured. Free up wages for a new RB and CB.

Lamptey feels more likely and he’s had interest from other clubs recently. Sporting and Wolves enquired about him.

Incoming wise - Ethan Ampadu is one that makes more and more sense for us. He’s impressing in Italy, can play a number of positions and Chelsea will be looking to get rid.

Just a few totally random bits.

We've used 28 players in the PL this I believe. As in played actual minutes.

Rushworth has to be playing. He's one of the country's outstanding young GKs. A ball playing Champ loan would make the most sense or maybe even USG, depending on how good their GK is.

Almost certain Van Hecke will be off. Don't feel Jenks has progressed at all over the last few seasons which is a shame. Weir and Leonard on paper have had very good seasons so be interesting to see there next move.
Sadly I think Lamptey will be off, at least on loan. Really can't see Roberts being anywhere near the first team.

From the above you'd wonder how much game time AL and JM will actually get. AL clearly an asset but we know how injury prone he is.

We have no idea how well Moder will recover. Recovery is becoming much better from this kind of injury but who knows, seems to have been complications.

I'm convinced that Alzate will be really closely watched over the summer and wouldn't be surprised to see him feature.

I suspect Offiah and Samuels will be around the first team squad.

It's a stronger looking squad that. But the big question marks will be over a GK (not sure we will find one who can contribute on a free), and a LCB.

If the Bayern and City interest in Kacper is true we might have to offer him more than another loan to keep him happy.

We are nailed on to sign at least two totally random players in totally unnecessary positions who end.up breaking into the first team.

Not in Whitechapel
Players out:

Sanchez
Lamptey
Van Hecke
Mac Allister
Caicedo

Players in
Alban Lafont (Nantes) GK
Brandon Williams (Man United) LB
Devyne Rensch (Ajax) RB
Arthur Theate (Rennes) CB
Davide Frattesi (Sassuolo) CM
Max Caqueret (Lyon) CM
Reiss Nelson (Arsenal/Free transfer) FWD

I’ve picked 3 players from the French league because they’re f*cked financially to the point they’re having to make the league smaller from next season. On top of that Lyon & Rennes look like they’re going to miss out on Europe whilst Nantes could be relegated due to extra places going down this season.

Some of those are names we’ve been linked with who I think would be really smart signings (Rensch/Frattessi/Nelson) and Brandon Williams strikes me as a potential Gilmour pt2. He only has a year on his contract, isn’t going to get any game time at United and you’d like to think he’d be okay playing second fiddle to Pervis.

That along with the signings that are already confirmed would leave us with a squad of

Lafont
Veltman - Dunk - Theate - Pervis
Caqueret - Frattesi
March - Pedro - Mitoma
Ferguson

Back-Up

Steele
Rensch - Webster - ? - Williams
Gilmour - Groß
Enciso - Lallana - Nelson
Welbeck
On top of that we’d have Undav, Moder, Sarmiento, Milner, Dahoud, Ayari and whichever loanees impress in the summer. Loans for a lot of the players I haven’t mentioned.

Question mark for one centre back because I have no idea how determined we are to have two left footed centre backs or if Roberts is going to be in the squad next season. All of the signings fit in to our usual age range and a lot of them have experience as part of a squad juggling European football.
