How on earth said 30? That's championship-winning form

I went for an optimistic 19

Of those games, there's nine that we've got a chance of winning. These are: Sheff Wed, B'ham, Leeds, Reading, Wolves, Millwall, Rotherham, Huddersfield, Wigan. The rest, I suspect, we'll lose. So, of those nine, let's say we win five, and draw two. And then pick up one point from the other seven. That makes 18 which, in turn, makes 48 for the season. If we do this, I still think we'll be playing in the Championship next season, but giving the board a serious message about the need to add some real quality in the summer -- something that they haven't really done in the past four transfer windows.

Middlesbrough v Brighton Sat 2 May 12:15 L 19

49 pts predicted to be the safety total for the Albion, 50 for most clubs.

Or otherwise 4 pts from 3 games up until Easter

Running it really fine, as most of the third out of four points comes in the last Home match.

Just two more home defeats, one when already nearly safe.

Just done Millwall who get 19 points if they draw with us and win on the last day of the season.

But I've got us winning at Hillsborough. If not we will be looking to get something out of our last three matches (and Wigan might be down by then).

My tip early on in the season for relegation was Charlton though (when they were near the top). To check out their fixtures.

Sat Feb 14 Brentford H L 0
--------------------------------------------
Sat Feb 21 Wigan Athletic D 1
Tue Feb 24 Derby County L 0
Sat Feb 28 Huddersfield Town W 4
--------------------------------------------
Tue Mar 3 Nottingham Forest W 7
Sat Mar 7 Cardiff City A D 8
Sat Mar 14 Blackburn Rovers H L 8
--------------------------------------------
Tue Mar 17 Blackpool A W 11
Sat Mar 21 Reading W 14
Sat Apr 4 Millwall L 14
--------------------------------------------
Mon Apr 6 Fulham H L 14
Sat Apr 11 Sheffield Wednesday A D 15
Tue Apr 14 Bolton Wanderers L 15
--------------------------------------------
Sat Apr 18 Leeds United H W 18 (could be a pivotal game?)
Sat Apr 25 Birmingham City A L 18
Sat May 2 A.F.C. Bournemouth H L 18

= 51 pts

I can't forecast how Leeds will do. Never could for the last few seasons and their current teams is unknown. Expect Leeds 17 -20 pts = 52 -55

17 points for me. Millwall and Wigan away will be crucial. Not convinced we've got enough in front of goal to stay up.

16 points... 46 will not be enough :nono:

46 pts has been enough for 3 of the last 4 seasons, 2012/13 being the exception where 54 pts went down!

I reckon 16 points from that lot, but we need to get them in 14 games as the last two will be losses to promotion chasing sides.

"Double" points, effectively, against Millwall, Wigan and Rotherham. We must win these games, end of.
