I've semi-convinced the wife that we should do our summer holiday wherever Brighton have their tour next year. What are people's thoughts on likely destinations. I can't imagine we'll do Japan again, so I'm thinking probably the US...

Chicago anyone? The Democratic Party convention is this week and next summer is wide open especially if Trump wins and starts trashing the Second City again and again and again and again and again and again.................oh, and he'll probably throw in a dinger about Cleveland just to keep JD Vance on his toes.

I will be suggesting to wife over dinner tonight if she is happy if our next holiday is following Albion on tour.

English teams often went to Sweden in the 80s/90s/early 00s, think it sounds like a decent option.

But 2025 is a year before the 2026 World Cup, and going to the US or Canada to build some hype around the club while the football hype is building in North America seems like the reasonable choice from a commercial perspective.

Expanded tour of Japan to cash in even further on MitomaMania. Unless of course the club is daft enough to sell him in order to service the bottom line

He'll get sold once he wants to get sold. He brings value on so many level that I think Tony would love to keep him around for a long, long time but realistically this guy is going to want to play in one of the best teams eventually.

KM is Japanese. They do honourable. Even their agents. He'll fulfil his end of the contract. No pressure on TB to do likewise then...

Its not a fictional TV show.

If Real Madrid calls and says "hello, we want Mitoma", he is going to say "I would like to go to Real Madrid". Imho.

I'm sure I read that the Premier League Series that we took part in last year is to return, and having several Premier League teams playing a tournament in the Summer before seems a no-brainer.

Good strategy by Mrs Stumpy Tim there......offer you something but remain only semi-convinced. Whatever this has cost you so far, it will cost you a lot more for the full green light :lolol:
