Modern Digital SD is actually still pretty good on anything 32" or less. Still massively better than stuff from the analogue days of 4:3 on betacam..

I find if the weather is anything other than absolutely perfect I cannot get BT Sport HD through my Sky dish, in fact I can't get it in SD either half the time...and yes, it does look very poor in comparison.

I believe there is now ultra HD tv's with the resolution 4 times greater then the 1080p (3840 x 2160). im pretty sure the sky HD box only has a maximum output of 1080 so kind of makes ultra HD not worth having just yet.

i've never watched football in hd, is there really that much of a difference?

If we are on a none hd channel watching footie little rev goes into uproar,amazing difference tbh
