Think he's going to be right aswell, we've stopped the goal drought, we're going to give someone a battering soon. Leeds will probably bring down biggest crowd yet, sky cameras are out and i'm sure we'll generate a great atmosphere. Hopefully have Hoskins and maybe even Vicente on the bench to give us a boost.

Leeds aren't the like to sit back like others and stop us playing, they don't have particually quick strikers to threaten us like Blackpool. I really think we're going to tear them apart like we did Sheff Weds and get back on form.

Lets stop all this doom and gloom and get behind the team, we are supposed to be SUPPORTers after all!

Really, I'll wait to see that.

What so middlesborought didn't sit back and defend all game? They played a free flowing attacking game constantly chasing us on the ball?..

Worthing
seafordbha i feel hoskins isn't ready i know he scored on Monday for the development team but i don't feel we should rush him back and i dont feel Vicente will ever be 100% fit

This is what worries me. Historically we are always under par when the cameras are out. Aren't we?

Agree with that, yet last year we had players who had probably never played on TV before, it was bound to affect them. We now have Bridge, Bruno and Kuzczak, who have performed in front of loads more. Crofts and CMS have played for their countries on tv. Plus all the others will have benefited from Liverpool, Sunderland, Newcastle etc last year and gained experience from that.

Hoskins has had a couple of weeks back in training come friday, played a couple of games for development squad so surely fit enough for a cameo off the bench. I'm sure people said that about Vicente last season too?

Sorry I find it somewhat difficult to agree with you here as we have now had a series of games where, it appears, GP has not actually taken any action to redress the previous 'dire' performance as he has, subsequently and resolutely, put out the same or nearly the same team as before with not unsurprisingly the more or less identical result. Never mind a stolen point today, the fact is that we are now in a dire run of form with no apparent way out especially as we now have a more or less fully fit squad.

If you seriously think that we are going to 'tear Leeds apart' then I hope you are correct but I very much doubt that outcome. We are currently 10th, NINE points off the pace, and seemingly one dimensional.

Nonetheless, I do hope that you will be proved to be correct.

Edit, I should have added that with the performances the team/GP are/is currently turning in, perhaps I for one may settle for watching the Leeds game on the box as at least it can be switched off !

I haven't heard the interview but if Gus did not make any reference to the fact that we were outmuscled all over the pitch and did not show the same desire as Blackpool anywhere but in defence then he is kidding himself. Today was as bad as I have seen this team play and our performances have shown less conviction with every winless game. We are definitely in at least a mini crisis, if Gus is just brushing it aside with a glib "we'll sort it out next game" I'm concerned.
