after the sending off of barnes yesterday imo i think poyet should take a leaf out of alan mullerys book and fine barnes for his actions yesterday he let down the team the fans etc,mullers used to fine players all the time when this happened,but as ash seems to be his best mate he will do f*** all,by the way is barnes banned for 3 games?

how is it? you fine a player because he wasn't acting professionally and let his anger get the best of him. I like Barnes and i believe that he would respect the punishment because he would understand the error of his way. You have to think about the team when you are on the pitch you can't just lunge at someone because they have annoyed you. Just because he was our best player doesn't make him untouchable, do you think if Messi started racially abusing people at Barca they would think lets not fine him because he is our best player? now thats the definition of a stupid naive comment!
