Starting Batti, and then subbing on Baz, Caskey and Sandaza, we never stood a chance :lolol:

To top it all off, Bournemouth are 1 up at Huddersfield.

OK he didn't play the BEST team he could but he did play the RIGHT team. I think we can be quite proud of our display. Lets just get it over with no injuries now.

great day, no injuries, no reds, no disgrace, other results in our favour and best players rested :)

promotion is the holy grail, and then we will start in the 3rd round every year and the 5th round will then be easier to attain.

Only watched the 2nd half through the streaming and thought we looked the better side. Granted when you are 3-0 up you don't have to do that much but thought we did OK. Great result at Bournemouth.

100% agree with this. We didn't show ourselves up.

Totally agree. Initially I was annoyed with Poyet's selections in the early rounds and quite honestly I was surprised that he put out a strong team against Watford. Today's selections were much more in line with expectation, given that he has made the League the number one ambition. We need to win again on Tuesday, so I'm glad he didn't make the whole first 11 run themselves ragged, so that we give ourselves a good chance of keeping up the pressure in the league.

It was good while it lasted, but I am relieved to be out of the Cup. We can definitely have more success in future years, but for me right now, I want nothing more than to win this division in style.

Simple he knew we could beat watford He knew there was no way on earth we were going to beat stoke So he fields a reserve side And still plays good football The man is a genius i also think that we had playedspurs or chelsea There would have been a different team out

Was it really a 'reserve side'? I'm pretty certain we have got a few injuries here and there. Eight of our players are regular starters and it looked as though he was going to play a three pronged attack, if Wood had been fit.
