argus:

Gus Poyet is facing an FA charge after he was ordered from the dugout by referee Steve Cook during last Saturday's 1-1 draw at Leyton Orient.

The Albion boss was furious at Cook's failure to award the Seagulls a first half penalty for a blatant push on Liam Dickinson.

Poyet has until next week to respond.

I think the FA should be apologising to Gus, or at least the referee should!

Being charged is merely the formality for being found guilty. These things are little more than Kangaroo Courts.

I am actually quite proud that Gus was pissed off enough that the ref sent him off. Bearing in mind what a spacktard that ref was, the sending-off should be considered an achievement, and be worn as a badge of honour.

"MY NAME IS GUS, AND I GOT SENT OFF BY A GRACELESS PIG-EYED BUCKET OF SHIT."

f*** it, I'll even chip in a tenner to help pay the inevitable fine.

I actually feel like writing to the FA and telling them what I think of their "disciplinary procedures". They are a complete joke. Steve Cook and his linesman will no doubt be back officiating this weekend while Gus is facing a fine and possibly even a touchline ban. The FA are a disgrace and should not be allowed to run football in this country.

Would they have viewed the incident that pissed Gus of so, in making their judgement on whether to charge him? It was completely the correct reaction from Poyet after that penalty wasn't given, considering the situation in the match AND in our season. To not react in the way he did would be against everything that makes this game great. PASSION.

It should have been understood and he should have got away with a ticking off. It's not like he was aggressive in any way.

f*** the FA.

Gus will defend himself to the hilt, passionately, of that I have no doubt. Possibly with video evidence of the incident.

"Eere, look eere. You see what yar fackin ref do ? And you blame me for havin' da spastick ? Ahm fightin for ma fackin life eere. Da team is sheet, looka at da state of ma hoofin' centrebacks innit. Now if das not a penalty, ah danno wot your boy is watchin. Gimmie a break ah ?"

My keyboard doesn't do Uruguyan accents.
I was going to do Peruvian, but that almost sounds like welsh.

NERD ALERT...

On the train home one day, I was talking to this lass from Argentina who works at Glyndebourne, coaching singers when they need to sing in Spanish. She was saying that the Spanish accents in South America sound so similar across the continent, that it was difficult to determine which city anyone was from just by hearing them speak.

So the Peruvian accents on your keyboard could have been alright for El Gus. The Patagonian one, however... Best leave that one, boyo.

Well, I don' often do Gusspeak, but I shall bear your sage advice in mind next time Big Al.

In other news, I notice you are something of a SCRAMBLE afficienado. I scored 48 the other day, inluding the word "gusset"
