Out of interest has anyone been/is a power of attorney for anyone. Have just become one for my grandmother and was just wondering the kind of things you do?

It depends if it is an enduring Power of Attorney, or one that is specifies what it can do.

If it is enduring, then you can do what ever you need to doin the best interests of the person who gave the Power. If your grandmother loses her faculties, then you have to inform the Court of Protection.
