We all want the best for our club, however it and those that manage it are not above questioning never mind the dimwitted zealots who act as self appointed defenders of the club and won’t hear a word against. Feck me if I haven’t poured tens of thousands into it myself and that entitles me to voice frustration without some JCL straight out of nappies telling me what I can or can’t say. Nobody admires Potter more than me but if he came round to my house and told my wife and my kiddies that they need to learn from their experiences I’d say “Oi, POTTER! NO! You may have masterminded a football club’s rise from semi-professional to the Last 32 of the Europa League, and hold a Masters degree in Leadership & Emotional Intelligence, but you may not come round here, sucking air through your teeth, talking rubbish and avoiding the bloody questions...” etc etc

BT, I’m not so sure that TB wouldn’t pull the trigger. Yet so many are convinced he won’t even if we go down. Which we might. Without a whimper even heaven forbid. What makes you so certain TB wouldn’t? Especially with £200m at stack?

All agree on the vision. Great vision. Every clubs vision in fact. Been Albions since before Amex days. Losing £200m with no guarantees of winning it back just isn’t part of. Especially when TBs said mid table was the aim. Maybe that’s changed. Maybe 4th, 5th or 6th from bottom is our limit and our new vision. Without goals. Pretty bleak entertainment if so. Maybe relegation is the plan therefore and I’m completely wrong. As you say, what’s £200m when £350m isn’t even an eyelid flicker (though I’m sure it was!)

Sheffield United doubled their points against us. Everybody else has beaten them, but we can't.

Have a look at their matches and results.. They have lost to Leeds, Villa, Wolves, City, Liverpool, Arsenal (Oct) West Brom, West Ham, Chelsea, Saints, Leicester and Man United. All of the defeats bar Saints/Chelsea were by 1 goal. They scored against Liverpool, Chelsea, Arsenal, Burnley, Man United and Leicester - not too shabby.
Burnley got a point, West Brom beat them.. the "fact" that they have just 2 points is irrefutable, but the insinuation that they are pushovers isn't true either.

Yes. Some posters forget the second part of the goal to be a top ten PL team. Barber stated quite clearly we may suffer relegation, and come back again, before the top ten goal is achieved. Clearly Bloom and co. believe Potter is the right manager to achieve regular top-ten finishes in the long-term, or he wouldn't have been given such a long contract. They're not going to panic and sack Potter now. (Okay, on current form he may also be the right guy to deliver on the relegation comment too )

We do need a striker who can take a decent number of the chances created. I'm sure Potter knows that! But it's not as simple as "Uncle Tony open your cheque book". Top strikers are rare and either not for sale or aiming higher than our current level.

Always the same 10 or so people who shout their mouths off when we lose (or draw) and slink off when we play well or heaven forbid, actually win. I'm not sure what their motivation is. Seems an alien way to support the club if you ask me.

Of course he isn’t beyond reproach. Of course he’s accountable to TB, via DA, but all im saying is those calling for him to “walk” [would you or I with a six year contract?!] or be sacked it will be a longer wait than anything that happens this season IMO.

Am I frustrated? Sure I am. Do I think we’re pedestrian, incapable of change and or unable to see what GP is trying to achieve? No. And neither is TB.

That’s all I’m saying.

We have needed a striker for 4 seasons, how long does it take to find one , I bet if we get relegated they will suddenly find a striker

Why the obsession with home wins? Are you concerned with how we do against teams who's names begin with the letter 'L"? Or how we do when we play on a Monday? Surely its about how we do overall in all of our games rather than half of them?

If we won every away game and didn't win at home would you still be upset?

Yep I agree. But I still will take into account all of our games when judging Potter's performance rather than focusing on half of them...

He is dull with press but so much is down to boring questions. However would like local media to ask more pointed questions. Why didnt Welbeck play.











He is uninspiring with media but have some sympathy with boring questions. Cant understand why local media dont ask more pointed questions. Eg Welbeck only 30 why was he rested for such important game, Why didnt Swiss guy replace Connelly instead of going wide where March had been causing problems
Not only are City and Liverpool best teams there managers are very media friendly and entertaining

Its usually quite important to perform in front of your own fans. I mean we are the people who buy the STs and merchandise. Keep playing crap football at home people stop going. Lose the faith and go shopping etc with their families. Less hassle and dare to say cheaper. If however you do well, well generally much more reason to go as ENJOYMENT becomes a part of the event rather than turgid frustration.

People here are frustrated about the 1 home win all year, recent form etc as well. waking up at 5 only to see failing to score against Fulham is even more devastating.

But many still believe we are going at the right way with GP and TB.
