I was invited to the Maytree in 1976 by a bloke called Paul who was working with me, painting council houses in Littlehampton. It was his local. His mates were characters to say the least. Paul was a firm friend that summer, loyal and true, but he did shoot someone with an air rifle on the grass in front of The Knoll one time. If you're on NSC, Paul, I hope you had a good life

WRT the OP's question, there are probably 20 plus NSC posters who I've known 20+ years, purely through following the Albion (and the old Mailing List), maybe 20 more I 'knew' but don't know I knew, and a handful of others I went to school with (or near, including one poster I first knew as a near neighbour on Foredown Drive, Portslade, I guess.....getting on for 60 years ago - evening Andy )

How about, for a short period of time ,those posters who use an avatar change it for an actual image of themselves. Be interesting to see if people recognised each other?

I do wonder how many people on here might be arguing or laughing along with school friends, neighbours, colleagues and have absolutely no idea

I've seen a few season ticket holders that it near me posting to NSC from their phones at half time or final whistle but have never asked them their screen name on here. Bit scared of finding out they are one of the twats.

I worked on the trade counter

Paul Trafford and Steve Southern were my line managers

I remember Gaz a lad with glasses, I’m sure he supported Forest, was he related to Kev who also worked there?
Paul and Steve sound familiar.
Maybe before your time but I got on well with Gez ( mixed race lad ) he worked on the trade counter in the 80s.

Stanley Deason 1981-1985.

Some may just about have survived the latter and be literate enough to post here.

Where I normally sit in the ESU most of us have only just learned how to text.

I went to Old Heathfield Primary School in the late 60s to mid 70s and Heathfiald Comprehensive as it was after that and left in 82 to join the forces. Most people I knew there were Tw@ts anyway and I doubt if theyve changed much having never left East Sussex in the remaining years.

Gerald, yes that’s him.
Yes I did think Kevin was Gary’s uncle.

I don’t think I remember you TBH, but I did site work for a while and then worked for someone that would send me to Graham’s for materials. I probably went into Lumleys more often around 86-89.

I wouldn't at all be surprised if my brother in-law (Big G!) is on here but also, knowing my sister, I also wouldn't at all be surprised if she's keeping him too busy to be on here!
Zefarelly is the only one I know for sure but haven't met for at least 25 years.
