Sack the lazy bastards. If they don't want to work, for whatever reason, tell them to bugger off and find another job then give their job to someone who does want it.

We got mail as usual last Friday.

I have sympathy for the posties. The management of the Post Office couldn't run a trip to a brewery as the saying goes.

Ditto

On another note have you seen on the news the bus drivers on the I of W have suspended industrial action after a pay offer of 8% was tabled?

Now it would be unfair to comment from the information we have from the media because you dont hear the full offer and the strings that may be "attached" so pasty unless you are on a wind up comments like yours on the postal strike are neither helpful or clever! We posties have been put in an unenviable posistion and unless you know the full facts you may be wise to dilute your opinion!

Why not support the posties? Its costing them personal money to strike and they don't earn shitloads to start with. IMHO its like supporting your local firemen or NHS staff. These are the key workers in our community. Unlike the dormitory commuters in the *cough* New England Quarter.

Support you local postie

My birthday cards may be late!! Right that's it. I'm gonna complain to my MP... oh, hang on... it's Norman "must get my face in the press" Baker. That'll do f*** all good. Anyone know a good MP I can complain to??

FACT: Posties get paid more than their employees at other delivery companies. For an unskilled job the pay is good.
FACT: Royal mail is a limited company and is there to make a profit.

Striking is only going to make the situation worse causing the Royal Mail to lose business to more reliable competitors.

I say get to work and stop winging if you don’t like it get another job that pays well
