Really? I find it quite offensive. It basically says: look, people are traveling from all over the world to see the Olympics, but you couldn't get a ticket even though you live locally.

Indeed. I for one am quite happy to pay a bit of tax to watch it. It's not like all the other tax I pay goes on entirely noble causes is it?

Erm, I don't think that's BA's fault, they don't even know whether I've got a ticket! I don't live locally and wouldn't want to go anyway, so maybe other people have a different perspective. I just thought it was clever and funny to see my house go past the window of an airplane!
