Possibly. I had the game on and there was a massive pitch invasion at the end that sounded like it was getting nasty.

Great quote, though:

"But despite the poor showing, one man amongst the 6,054 crowd who did enjoy it was Ron Taylor. The 52-year-old is on holiday in England from California and visited Sixfields to take in his first ever professional game.

He said: "It was wild, I have never seen a crowd get so worked up. It was really exciting, such a thrill."
"

With people worrying about a points deduction for us celebrating survival if we invade the pitch, surely there is more chance of Northampton being deducted points. Running on the pitch to threaten players and away fans, despite the understandable hatred of fans to M.K is surely more liable to a points deduction than celebrating "the great escape"

Agreed. One thing to invade the pitch and give your players a little thank-you. Quite another to threaten players. No matter how emotional it all is.

"and referee Keith Stroud sprinted off the pitch after blowing the final whistle to avoid coming into contact with Cobblers fans."
