Performance wise I think the main positive is that we chose one of the weakest teams in the league to have a stinker against. If we'd played like that against the vast majority of teams we'd have lost. And quite a few would have handed us our arses.

1) Lallana - a joy to watch. His substitution turned the game;

2) Lamptey - as per;

3) Veltman - classy;

4) Hopefully Potter has now established that going forward White needs to play as a centre back and Alzate needs to start in centre mid with Bissouma.

* We didn't lose
* Two games unbeaten
* Four points clear of the bottom 3
* We were absolutely fine for 45 mins
* One of Dunk's suspension games ticked off
* Surely lessons will have been learnt; Ben White isn't a midfielder, Maupay needs a partner etc

What a ****ing embarrasing post.

...... how many Prem matches have we won with March playing the whole 90 minutes?

I knew we wouldn’t win with this one footed muppet starting. Probably only in the team as his wages are low. Genuinely would struggle to get into most championship sides.

We struggled badly when Solly went off. Harsh on the one footed Muppet. Can promise you he is not cheap!

The main positive about today is that it is no longer yesterday.

God, we were dire in the second half. It’s testament to how poor WBA are that it took them 40 minutes to score after we did. We normally concede much sooner than that.

Main positive from the game: Lallana - he’s quite the player. He should have shot rather than squaring for Maupay though.

Plenty of positives from that first half, had you flipped the halves there would be plenty to be encouraged about albeit with concern for a no show for one half. The positive from the 2nd half was with 10 minutes to go after West Brom equalized we dug in and made sure we did not lose the game, that point could be priceless at the end of the season. I also think you have to give the opposition credit, they were excellent in the 2nd half and aren't nearly as bad as a lot of people anticipated, they will take points off decent teams this season.

Main positive for me is that we got a point from a game we ddin't deserve to (West Brom must feel like they got mugged), and we are still out of the bottom three.

Sometimes crappy points gained like last night (even though it's clearly not what we all wanted) can be crucial come the season's end. If we can play that badly and still get something then I'll take that.

I agree with most of the positives from us "lickers"! Had we just taken those chances when we were playing well.... I know its a recurring theme, but the second-half shows what it could be like without those moments! Didn't gift them a goal through a howler, no penalties and no goals from set pieces. Lallana was the best player on the pitch. It didnt work last night, and some of the decisions seemed odd or poor, but GP did react to what he was seeing and tried to change it.. I like that characteristic..

Don't have the frustration of thinking we'll play worse than that and win.

Veltman was a classy Man of the Match. Didn't put a foot wrong.
Lallana is a great signing once we can get 90 minutes out of him.

Positives. Stream was decent, a point is better than nothing, Lallana bossed it, Lamptey and White understanding a decent connection in the first half, we've lost against far worse teams, it's still early in the season we can iron out mistakes.

Maupay needs a rest. How many 'non penalties' has he scored this season?

Front 3 for Burnley at home needs to be Welbeck, Connolly & Trossard.
