Well that was entertaining wasn’t it. A lot of positives to take:

1. Adingra - outstanding, so exciting.
2. March- I thought he was actually man of the match his tackling was that of a true left back. Excellent to have him as such a viable option
3. Igor, thought he looked good until the injury.
4. Baleba, there’s a real player in there. He’s a bit raw but that will come.
5. We came from behind to grab a point when the heads could have dropped. I know we could have won it with Pedro but equally they missed an open goal to go 3-1 so a point is okay,
6. A point gained on the tracker!
7. We scored from a set piece!!!!
8. Going into the international break in 6th having played four of last seasons top seven in only eight games is excellent.

Anything I have missed?

Fun game, we played really well apart from a frustrating five minutes at the end of the first half.

Thought some of the new lads - Adringa, Baleba, Joao Pedro - looked great. March and Mitoma were both back on it today. Loads of positives all round.

Joao Pedro so should have slotted that home for the winner, but then their miss at 2-1 down was equally bad, so guess they cancelled each other out.

The main positive for me was that we continued from where we left off in that second half in Marseille, much more like our old selves, looking more positive and playing well. If we could just tighten up a little at the back again we'd be right back on it.

March playing so well means that there is no need to rush Estupinan back from injury, Baleba will have learnt a lot from that game and Adringa is looking very much a PL winger/attacker.

Yep, we've also played six of the current top ten, whilst we still play seven of the bottom ten.
So after that match against Man City, we have a relatively easy fixture list in the Premier League to gain some points.

Igor is obviously hard as nails.

Took a shot straight to the face and didn't even flinch. Most players end up sprawled out on the floor being checked by a medic.

Admittedly going off injured later did reduce the impact somewhat.
He was down on the floor for a while just after
