Fulham had two shots on target and didn’t score two goals.

Bissouma and Alzate looked good in the middle, our corners caused problems.

We didn’t lose.

I suppose you just have to look at it as a marked improvement from the Leicester game. And had the team that started on Sunday started tonight, we would've totally folded and lost. Makes me feel marginally more confident about the Sheff United game, I suppose.

Much improved football, GP must not now ‘rest’ any of the above. To build on this.

Really pleased that he took the battling aspect of a performance seriously, not a blind trust in possession up field and leaving us exposed to the counter.

Agree with all this but would add Dunks performance. Keep the same team for a must win but maybe bring in Maupay for Trossard.

Sanchez.

Clean sheet.

Second half was good - not sure what was said at half time but it worked.

First half we just looked to be lacking in confidence and positivity. Trossard's body language in particular - he was making gestures like he was irritated to be playing...

Sanchez played well and should keep his place.
Defence looked organised.
Dunk back to his old self.
Clean sheet.
Alzate and Bissouma pairing in midfield.
Better corners.
We got a point.
Negs.... Substitutions didn't work and we can't score.

It may be pure coincidence but at the same time as Sanchez repaced Ryan all three central defenders put in improved performances. Therefore, Sanchez has to keep his place for Sheff Utd.

Alzate showed why he should have been starting alongside Biss all season. Tidy and energetic. Indeed, there is an argument for starting him even when Moder arrives, maybe replacing Tossard / Ali J.

Tonight showed how we miss Izquierdo. He could have been the difference.

I wouldn’t want to deplete numbers in midfield, that’s where EPL games are won. Also, little faith in Maupay just now. Trossard was poor, which midfielder could we bring him to replace him?

Sheff Utd are a team with a load of giants, we need height aplenty to counter that at set pieces.

I think a combination of Sanchez and Fulham playing one (midfielder) up front. But yeah, you do wonder how a big a factor having a guy with more presence was in terms of the defence seemingly looking a bit more assured.
No way can he be dropped next match.
