Sorry can't seem to link it (This is Staffordshire) Two directors become director's without putting any money into the club and it becomes rather confusing as to what is going on.

Always had a soft spot for Vale Park. Been there to watch Albion more than any other away ground. Been beaten up one year, arrested the next, chased for miles. All back in the 1970's and 80's mind you. Aaarrr sigh.

If someone can link it,you will see the link. Stoke-on-Trent council i believe have first call on the ground, but they are bigtime bust. There is no connection between Port Vale and this American firm.

Along with Plymouth it is also my most visited ground. Excellent pub crawl if nothing else...

"WE ARE LOOKING FOR VOLUNTEERS TO HELP DISTRIBUTE RED CARDS BEFORE THIS SATURDAY'S MATCH AGAINST ALDERSHOT ON SAT 17TH DECEMBER

IF YOU HAVE BEEN STAYING AWAY WE ALSO NEED YOU TO ATTEND - IF YOU ARE SEO THEN SIMPLY REMAIN OUTSIDE WITH MANY OTHERS

Anyone who is able to help distribute red cards please email ASAP

redcard@portvalesupportersclub.org

with your name, contact details and the area of the ground you will be able to distribute them in. Cards will be distributed from outside Hamil Carpets from 1:45pm onwards to volunteers but we need to know if you can help so we can plan ahead.

The Red Card protest along with protests before the match at 2:30pm outside the main entrance, an 8 minute sit-in at the end of the match and an after match demonstration outside the main entrance.

These protests are being organised by the Port Vale Supporters Club and follow recent revelations that

1:- The £8million deal was only ever £500,000 maximum and that is now dead

2:- Perry Deakin got elected on the back of that supposed £8 million deal and news he had invested £100,000 of his own money when he hadn't invested a single penny

3:- Peter Miller got elected on the back of that supposed £8 million deal and news he had invested £250,000 of his own money when he hadn't invested a single penny

4:- The revelation Miller is on a £100,000 salary, luxury car, luxury apartment and 8 business class return flights to the USA along with expenses and sustenence all provided for by PVFC for a previously un paid role of Chairman.

5:- Those now in power have misled and lied to shareholders and fans alike, they still have not shown proof they have invested a single penny and yet they are draining our club dry.

6:- There is much more to be revealed over the coming days and weeks which will show how these people have used and abused the club we all hold dear to our hearts and it's time we all now stopped the rot now.

IT'S TIME TO GET THEM OUT OF OUR CLUB NOW ! ! ! ! !

Can't imagine for one moment Vale Park being valuable real estate!

Think you will find S-o-T council now on the ground (?) and some of the surrounding area along with cuts in services something like 50m over two years to make, more than one person has suggestted that maybe these Americans would buy back the land and then sell taking any profit and themselves back to America.

Just change the words "Miller" and "Deakin" with "Archer" and "Bellotti" and see how striking the similarity is with our situation in 1995-6

There's nothing inherently wrong in directors taking over a club without putting any money in. It doesn't mean they are getting something for nothing, it means they are taking over responsibility for the debts.

That's actually what Archer did with us. To say he bought the club for 56 quid is technically correct, and that was a good price for him if you look at the assets he got, but if you look at the liabilities he took on as well then it's a different story.

But before everybody shoots me down, no way am I defending him. It's what he did or did not do afterwards that was wrong and caused huge problems, not the fact that he bought the club for peanuts.

If the directors of a club with big debts repay those debts, it's the same thing as putting money into the club.

For me, this is the worst bit. Even after everything Mr Bloom has done for us, I would expect a few questions to be asked if he were receiving a luxury car and apartment, flights and expenses on the club. This looks more like a package for a chairman of a big championship club, not (with due respect) Port Vale. Plus, he's only actually put £250,000 into Port Vale - when you take into account the salary and perks he'll effectively be in profit within a couple of years.
