You're in a minority here with that view - trust me

The only thing Vale are going up is the swanny once Bill Bell has sold the ground to the German supermarket chain and they flatten Vale Park to combine it with the Co-Op there.

Still, you can always join Leek Town. I'm sure their ground holds the 4,000 or so that you average at home.

Port Vale. You've f***ing started me now......

Memories of Vale...

A deserted Longport railway station waiting for the train to Crewe... more Trevs and Garys in the town centre after the game than the whole of Essex... The club being really good to use after the final whistle... (How many other clubs would have done that? Credit where it's due)

As for champions though... maybe next decade!

Horton hasn’t exactly done a good job since he took over from John Rudge and I can’t see that changing now. And I think there is even less chance that we will get hammered 3-0 at Withdean.

On NSC for over two decades...
Memories of Vale Park part II:

Watto's last Albion goal.

"Nobby, give us a wave. Nobby, Nobby, give us a wave!!"

Danny and the boys saluting the crowd at the end of the game.

Nobody caring about being locked in for 15 minutes at the end of the game...., and not particularly being fussed about leaving after 15 minutes had elapsed anyway.

And.......

"There's no one there!! There's no one there!!!! There's no one there!!! There's no one there!!!"

Fantasy league ? Well pure fantasy anyway. More like Division Three team 2004-2005.

Still, credit to PVFC for that memorable day in May 2002.

Your just a small town near Stoke.

Port Fail will continue to tread the path of medocrisy now and for years to come, a relegation or promotion every 10 years to keep things barely interesting, a manager change every now and then. In fact the most exciting thing to happen EVER at Port Snail is when the mighty Brighton hordes invade the ground, out sing the home fans and eat all the pies.

Last season you interesting highpoint was when the canteen lady changed the brand of teabag they serve in the snack bar.

For me, Port Vale is some inbred turnstile operator accusing me of giving him a £10 note and getting £10 change in return. (He followed me into the ground to accuse me. Wouldn't have minded but I did give him a £20)

And one of my all time favourite songs - Whose the bigger club now, Nob, Whose the bigger club now?
