Wouldn't want Ponting now. At the tail end of his career, and the quality of his batting has declined sharply in the last 12 months. If we are looking for an overseas batsman then I would love to see a young batsman with potential, someone like Usman Khawaja.

Re Ponting - haven't we filled our overseas slots already though? Agree it would be a very interesting move, whilst MY gets his head/body in gear.
