Pompey tickets not sold out

This may not be strictly true as tickets were still on sale today.
How on earth have we not sold our allocation for this game.
Last season we took 3500 to scc on a Tuesday night in November yet we can't sell 3000 tx on a Saturday afternoon in august.

On top of that the chances are that getting home from Pompey will be quicker than getting home from the Amex.

When the fixtures came out wasn't this one of the matches that we all looked for,it was for me.
I've heard people say I'm not paying £30 to go fratton park yet we paid £27
at withdean.

This is Pompey away ffs.

Tickets were supposed to be available up until 1.00pm today.

I tried to purchase a ticket around 12.00 noon (late decision) and the Pompey match was not even showing on 'Away Matches' on the ticketing site.

Presumably therefore the match was sold out for Albion supporters prior to that time.

£30, people are on holiday and prioritising home games.

Much rather have people going to carling cup games at home and putting money into BHA than spending it at Fratton.

I'll be there thow

Apart from palace away this should be the most over subscribed away game of the season.

It must be very nearly a sellout , I think that when tickets are unavailable online they dont want to sell more than they physically have. This could easily happen if personal callers are queueing at The Amex ticket office and someone online purchases the last dozen tickets for friends and family.

Different priorities this season, is my guess. If you include Spurs (31st July) it's 6 home games in four weeks. If you are strapped for cash, last season you'd have skipped a few and gone to Pompey. Not this season.

Stopped selling them online couple of days ago I think, as not enough time to get them sent out in the post but the remainder were available if you went in person to the ticket office

On the official club website it says tickets purchased before 1pm via the phone would have to be picked up from The Amex either in the afternoon or tomorrow morning. Looks to me that tickets were available but not online , only by visiting The Amex ticket office or by phone.

I'm a st holder with 1020 points so was convinced that I would miss out on tx after 1901 1350 points st+ withdean st 1250 only after that were tx available to me yet here we are a week later & tx still available.

If we drew Pompey away in the f.a cup last season there would have been total meltdown with fans wanting tickets,so what's the difference this season.

Thanks, my misunderstanding, I thought I could buy on line as long as I picked them up from the Amex.

Cheers
