Would you take a defeat in both cup games in order to stay up

Where's the "go for at least a replay against West Ham, beat Brizzle AND stay up" option???

FFS we have got 30 points, we are not going down

That is not the point - this is a hypothetical question.

Drop out the cups and stay up is a must. We are going to need to start resting players as some are looking shattered and could do without any distractions. Our cup victories have papered over the cracks somewhat.....

Yeh, e got 31 points from the first have of the season, we currently have 0, and 3 games played in the second half.

I think we can manage getting another 20:glare:

All very good logic mate but stats don't win football games do they?

I mean i could say that we have got 8 points out of 12 over the Xmas period and if we carry on doing that for the remainder of the season we will be in the play-offs again.

sorry dave, but what a crap poll...'83 was a unique situation the reason why we were relegated from Div 1 was nothing to do with the cup run, but everything to do with the fact that we weren't good enough to stay in this division.

To say that we will do well in the cups and get relegated is rubbish and appears to be scaremongering...

Personally, I think that the Bristol City game is one of the most important games of the season...If we reached the final of the JPT, we and our opposition would be the first teams to play at the new Wembley and this in itself would generate a massive amount of much needed publicity for Falmer- as our day at Cardiff did. I also think that because we would be playing at Wembley, the turnout would be huge and therefore this would generate a huge amount of much needed cash for the run in to the end of the season and for next season. In addition, it would probably be a sell-out as many people would want to attend the first ever game at the new Wembley.

If we cant manage 20 more points from 20 games then we deserve to go down.

concentrating on the league is most important. but a good cup run earns the club money. money is also very important as we all know.
