Just watched PMQ's, Johnson just hates the constant scrutiny from Starmer.

Today he has trying to portray this and an attack on the public themselves, its all becoming more Trump like by the week

Boris is showing he's desperate now by pursuing this line of response. Winning a majority significant enough to result in Corbyn resigning and was the worst thing to happen to him.

It doesn't feel like we're very far away from the idea that opposition to Government is tantamount to treason. Which is a favoured tactic of all manner of the world's despots throughout history.

it is very true that Boris loves a crowd. But Starmer is making this very easy for him - not answering simple questions and making fairly irrelevant points. turning into a pantomime this

I don't think the points Starmer is making are irrelevant, as it's his job to hold the PM and the govt to account. I agree it would blow the tories out of the water if he did answer either way (they cant pin anything else on him at the moment) so a shame he hasn't, but i also realise that he won't.

Sadly PMQ's has always been a pantomime, although it has definitely got worse since Johnson got back from his illness/holiday/paternity/whateverhewasdoing...which seems coincidental.
