Can anyone who has not yet returned their Falmer banner, please drop it back either to Henfield, the Club Shop or Offices.

The banners are still very much needed!

Incidentally big thanks to the Supporters' Club for funding the cost - some £750 - & of course well done Super Phil.

I have only had around 12 returned so far - another 35 odd to go!

Thanks

PS

Brighton. NOT KEMPTOWN!
Banner hung at 1.30pm saying "Labour Party Conference Brighton Sept 04".
Ripped down by steward at 1.35pm.
Remonstration with said steward.
Given half of banner back saying "Brighton Sept 04".
Hung at 1.40pm.
Ripped down by steward at 1.45pm.
Remonstrated with said steward asking why 49 others could stay, but mine (by now just saying "rig") was ripped down.
He said he was just doing as he was told.
I asked him to find out why as I had to report back to the official supporters club, but I never saw him again.
So, one less banner to expect back!

Jack - would love to have seen the incident on video - on Seagulls World perhaps - bet you remained polite and respectful with a reasoned arguement. Doubt if the Steward could cope with that. No excuses - you'll have to pay for a replacement!

I returned U5 to the ticket office in the Club Shop on Wednesday.
Hopefully it's one of your ones accounted for!

Mine was put up in M38 along with another already in place.

Went back after the game and it had been removed. Everest collected it and he was going to let you know about the missing banner on his return from holiday

I've contacted Paul about taking a banner or two to Portugal, but I have no way of getting to his home Henfield to collect one.

If you have one in London (preferred) or Brighton can you contact me as well as Paul please and hopefully we can sort something out. Cheers.

I know that the Millennium Stadium has a policy that banners bearing political messages cannot be displayed there during sporting events.

Most of the 'Falmer' banners I saw were political to a degree, but maybe this one somehow over-stepped the mark as far as the stadium management was concerned. That's all I can think of.

Same sort of argument up in u35 concern was covering the nationwide advert. Argued with Mr Steward and said would remove banner if all the others came down. They didn't so we put it back up....until the breeze turned it into a giant flag.... (not sure who brought the banner nor who took it with them)
