Can anyone recommend a local:

Carpenter - general carpentry like fitting doors etc
Joiner - for making decent cupboards and the like

Richard was the best I ever saw at Withdean although with different talent Karen was probably the best

The guys at Wood Works are pretty good. They designed and built some japanes style sliding doors, bookshelves and cupboards for us and were excellent.

That's right. The holy grail was a bit crap and looked cheapish. The gold shiny ones were much better.
