I really hope we can offload these three asap to free up more transfer funds. Would love Adams at Port Vale to sign Hawkins (liability) and McLeod (flatter to deceive) and the shocking signing of Dixon, well he can go to the Blue Square premier. Within three weeks we'll have made about six loan/permanent signings mark my words.

Mcleod was the best crosser in the team last year yet he was not fit. I would like to give him a try and remember are squad is very small at the moment and as a squad player you can't really get much better in this league.

As for Hawkins and Dixon I am afraid they are just not good enough although nice enough blokes.

I don't think McLeod should go, i have been impressed with him, started the season very brightly, just picked up several injuries. If he works on his fitness, i think he could be important for us next season, as he clearly has the talent and ability, especially with those crosses of his

leave el abd alone. He plays in a variety of positiions and would be good for a utility sub player.

hawkins, started well, went wrong after he was injured.

mcleod deserves another chance - lets see what slade can do with him.

El-Abd as a footballer is an absolute joke. Top bloke, loves the club and he won't ever shirk at the challenge of playing for us. But he's rubbish, absolutely rubbish. He needs releasing immediately.

McLeod would be good if he wasn't so out of condition and wasn't so lazy. Slade could get something out of him. I think McLeod would be perfect in a winning team, but he'll be useless in a losing team... as we found out!

I would keep McLeod and see how he progresses after pre season training. Despite what many say on here El Abd could be an asset because of his versatility so I wouldnt even consider letting him go.

The thing about McLeod is that he's had discipline and fitness problems at every club he's been at. People mention the injury had, he was out of shape anyway before that. Slade by all accounts is a good man manager, but some people are beyond management. He used him late on in games, making the most of his sweet left foot without his lack of fitness/effort being a problem, but like Loft, Fraser, etc Slade got the most out of him by using him cleverly but that doesn't mean he is a good long term option.

We can't get rid of every player that is not going to be a first team regular.

The bottom line is that we have entered into a reserve league and, as such, need players to play in these fixtures. We wither need to hold on to these players, or pull out of the reserve league - we can't have it both ways.
