Please give posters with a 2011 join date their own forum on the board

How many more rumour threads from people supposedly 'in the know' or starting tedious or pointless threads. It is becoming boring.

If they had their own area on the site, they could post and after a 3 or 6 month 'hello' period they could join the main board provided they had posted something worthwhile?

There are plenty of people who post rumours who have been here a long time. To try and make this board elitist would diminish it. It is not, and never has been, the voice of Brighton and Hove Albion although some people think it is. On the other hand the vast majority of posters are BHA fans.

This would be a good compromise - so most people (who can wait for the club to announce signings) can ignore that part of the board.

This is reasonably easy to do.......

just don't believe any rumours or alleged "in the knows" until something is put on the official site.

This will not happen, it is all part of the NSC make up, we have discussed splitting areas and making other sections etc etc, most are against it anyway, but apart from that, it is all these things combined that make NSC what it is.

These sort of things are discussed in Mod Towers when we have our meetings (and share out our porn stash) it is also agreed that like any successful organisation, we need new input, this we get from new members (Or JCLs as they are now known) we are due a monthly banning meeting at Mod Towers soon, where my very own release of important information about Dave Beckham will be given the seal of approval.

Although I only became an actual member last October but have been reading NSC for years. As far as I can see there have been unfounded rumours and even more tedious posts since the beginning. Most of the members are Albion fans and we are entitled to post what we want. That is the point of forums ,opinions are posted then debated.You probably consider yourself in a group of elite posters were only your point counts . Get your head out your arse mate .

Aside from the new posters thing, I think there should be more of a sectioned format to the board, why not give everyone a chance to vote for 2 or 3 options for the future. I think ppl can post whatever within reason but other boards have football only and 1 or 2 others fir different discussion. Political threads are f***ing tiresome in the extreme

Yes, these rumours are tiresome in the extreme but let face it, its no worse that a lot of the utter tosh that gets posted on here from time to time from seasoned members. I "observed" this site for about 5-6 years before joining and it took me that long because of the frankly awful intolreance of anybody who joined new. It seemed for a long time that, unless you had a north-stand season ticket at the Goldstone for ten years, or went to Gillingham every week, or went to every away game etc you were deemed not worthy.

Its better now, I'll admit but this used to be quite a "clique-y" site. Its still is, but the fact that there are as many users is an obvious side-effect of our success on the pitch. If I have to put up with some pathetic rumours on NSC as the price for the Albion's success then so be it.

I think there should be a restructuring of nsc members should summit the new look nsc within 30 days and we would vote to find 10 better layouts.
The following week we would vote on the ten,each poster would get one vote per hundred postings and 50 votes per year of joining,any posters who have have a ban would lose 25% of their votes for each ban.
The votes would be counted by an independent commitee,any overseas posters would have on ly half the voting rights as well as posters from other teams. what say you north stand chat?
