Really had potential at the Albion but werent given a chance and are now doing shit all or simply not fulfilling the potential they showed here.....

Mine is Steve Melton Remember him filling in at right back at Orient brilliantly and scoring to brilliant goals for us....

Cant even start for boston now

Dan Marney now plays for Eastbourne Borough.

He left Crawley when they turned professional because the wages weren't enough. He was earning reasonable money in insurance and football but couldn't afford to give up his day job.
I thought he played well at the start of 2002/03 season.

Jeff Minton, along with OGH made the trips to Gillingham almost bearable, as he gave me hope that he could turn a game. He probably wasn't that good but in comparison to the dross who were wearing the stripes at the time he looked to have loads of potential. Obviously didn't and slipped to obscurity after moving up 2(?) divisions to Port Vale and getting relegated with them. Didn't he end up at Borient?

Ray Clarke (79/80). Came via Mansfield, Sparta, Ajax and Bruges! Scored lots, went to Newcastle, retired injured. Superb player, never wanted him to go, shame he had to pack it in. Apparently scouting now.

Long-throw specialist. He played everywhere. I remember his goal away at Cambridge. I loved his limp hair and public schoolboy face.

He was well cute.

I remember him hitting the stantion (sp?) away at Walsall one year. It went, 'CLANNNGGGGG'.

I believe his father died the day of an evening game at thome but he still played. Good lad.

Richie Barker went on to have a decent career at Rotherham, playing a higher standard than the Albion for several seasons. Think hes a regular at Macclesfield now but must be toward the end of his career.
