I see FDM professes to be a fan as well as a player.

Which other players have turned into Albion fans either during or after they played for us?

I'm guessing that John Byrne is an Albion fan and probably a few of the locally born lads who are playing for us at the moment, but which other players have taken on the burden of supporting this very unfashionable club???

Virgo?
May?Robinson?

Virgo is not a Brighton fan, we all thought he was until his move to celtic, when he said he'd been a celtic fan all his life. Much like harding who left the club and said he'd been a leeds fan all his life.

Think a lot of the youth team support brighton too

The Arsenal game the other day, when Justin Hoyte came on as a sub the commentator said that when he is not involved in matchdays, he goes and sits and sings with the crowd in the stand

When we played them in the fa cup there was a big article in the argus, about how he was a big fan and couldnt wait to play at white hart lane.

This upset loads of Pompey fans, when Harry Redknapp moved to Southampton. He said that football fans automatically assumed that anyone who played for their team was a fan, which in 99.999% of the cases was crap.

he also said that "kissing the badge" was pathetic and banned it from teams he managed.

Top man harry:thumbsup:

When I first got my computer I was signing the guestbook on the official site and Kit Napier had also signed it and said that he often checks back in to see how we are doing. That was about eight years ago now.

Must be absolutely fantastic to play for the club you support.

You must have never seen England play.
