McCammon certainly should not be ashamed of how he played today.

IMHO, every single player in an Albion shirt on the pitch SHOULD be ashamed tonight. We were f***ing awful.

Agreed we were awful.

That said you cannot blame Virgo or McCammon who ran their socks off and put themselves about. Perhaps should have scored more but other then Knight's crossing had to play the whole game with next to no decent service and little or no support from the midfield.

Whatever, it's pointless discussing football with you when you're in one of your toddler-style attention-deficit-disorder moods.

It also seems pointless to discuss anything with you in this case, because you dont seem to be able to accept other peoples views.

I see. Would you accept being sworn at and being called a "tool"? It's tolerance of this kind of abusive immaturity that's one of the (very few) things wrong with NSC.

In all honesty (although you never resort to swearing) you can dish it out yourself.

Yes, although it's boringly easy to defend yourself against those with the vocabulary of a ten-year-old chav.

I thought Wigan were just very good. There's a big difference.

Sorry but I thought McCammon as a striker was in the team to score?

He missed FOUR good chances last night that you can not afford to make at this level, shame as i though he was starting to look ok

What's his scoring rate compared with your beloved Leon, Kinky?

:D Let's compromise - this season in an Albion shirt. I think Virgs wins and Big Mac is second but I'll want your confirmation of that to be really sure.

Leon's corner-taking was excellent and he might have won the job from Chippy now. Be good to have Chippy waiting on the D for ricochets.

I disagree with the idea that Big Mac had four clean chances - on 2 or 3 he did well to get the touch ahead of a Wigan player but he had no real angle to get power downwards. One of them he certainly did though. Big Mac's a very honest, self-critical player and you could tell when he walked back from that one, it was different to the others, he was really disappointed with himself.

It didn't happen for Big Mac yesterday but the quality of headed goals he's got against Derby and Suinderland, this is not a part of his game we have to worry about.

I've never really understood why Leon doesn't take the corners - I can't remember him ever getting a goal from a corner for us (not suprisingly), and as you say, Chippy's talents are such that he'd be ideal on the edge of the box to whack the rebounds back in.
