An excellent performance, all the centre-backs were superb, good to see Virgo back in his proper position. Carpenter back to his best, and Knight gave us a lot more offensively when he came on, has to start at QPR.

was you both at the game or is this your opinion from the radio coverage?

This was the game that finished at 5, yes? I'm sure 3 hours to do M5/M42/M5/M25/M23 isn't that unfeasable!

High up on the South Downs.
McGhee deserves high ratings for getting the tactics right.
Don't really want to give individual marks after an excellent team performance. oh well

depends where you were going back to really. but with the motorways you mention then yes it is a bit unrealistic, but i'm not calling you a liar, more of a geek really that the first thing you do is post on a message board after a 3 hour journey.

If it matters, the first thing I did was get food and watch TV, convieniently placed next to the computer for checking how badly my accy went. We had a good run home, certainly, better than the way up, which was a nightmare.

As for being a geek, for someone with 5000+ posts, I think that's a given! :dunce:

fair one mr toad, i'm just a bit fed up with people rating players that they have't seen. today was a good day, we should be proud of what we did there, don't wanna see anyone slagged off by a "i've got a spurs ticket" fan who wasn't there.

more concered withe the gerbil, who posted at 8.14, now the game finished at 4.50ish, which is 3 hours 24 mins back to the motherland.

but to get out of the stadium, leave a car park, get to the motorway, travel south, log on with your player ratings, its gotta be 180 miles at least.

how dedicated is the gerbil is that the first thing he does, before a piss, after all he's been in the car for 3 hours. is post on NSC, how lucky are we to have such dedicated fans.

I got back about 8.35 and that was after a diversion getting lost coming out of Wolverhampton. The roads were fairly quiet. If you were back in the car and fast away from the ground I'm sure you could have made getting home about 7.45.

Now even I find his ways to be dark and nerdy ... As I understand it, he has adult nappies to negotiate the whole urination issue ... :nono:

What a hero!

Plus, we broke every speed limit by some distance, which helped. Got to the Hickstead turn-off by 7.50, whereas the journey up saw jams on the 23, 25 & 40.
