Very very poor game, but here goes ...

Flinders 8. He's good!

Rehman 7. Played pretty well and some good attacking runs.

Elphick 5. Is that's what we've been waiting for? Poor. Not tall enough for a CB.

Lynch 8. Beaten in the air a few times in the first half, but otherwise excellent again.

Mayo 3. One (or was it two?) decent pass in the first half, apart from that woeful. Worst I've seen him play.

El Abd 6. Not his best position.

Bertin 7. Has played better.

Frutos 4. Get rid.

Loft 5. Maybe give him another game or two, but based on today probably get rid.

Revell 7. Excellent in the air. Why was he taken off?

Savage 6. Has played a lot better.

Subs

Fraser 6. OK

Robinson 5. Really didn't do much.

Elder 5. Ditto.

Manager 3 for not including Hart.

Flinders - 8 Couple of great saves, could he have been more decisive for the second goal though?

Rehman - 7 Thought he played well, his options were limited going forward with El-Abd in front of him!
Elphick - 6 Decent debut I thought.
Lynch - 7 Couple of dodgy moments in the first half but mostly good. Not captain material though, didn't open his mouth once.
Mayo - 3 Crap

El-Abd - 4 Right wing??
Bertin - 6 Probably his worst game for us, still didn't deserve to be subbed!
Loft - 4 Non league beckons. At least he looks like he cares though.
Frutos - 3 Absolute crap, what the hell has happened to him??

Savage - 6 Ok, not great but no service.
Revell - 6 Same as Savage

Fraser - 5 Did ok, nothing amazing.
Robinson - 5 Couple of lively moments but not in the game much.
Elder - 6 One good run that led to a decent shooting opportunity with which Loft could barely reach the goal.

Wilkins - 3 This is the most disappointed I have been after a game with him in charge. Could understand giving the fringe players a go, but El-Abd on the right? Why not Rents or Bakayogo rather than Mayo? WHY NO HART?? Or even Ward for that matter.
Also thought the subs were all wrong, brought off Revell for Robinson but played him wide leaving one up front, we were two down by this point. Brought off Bertin, but moved Mayo of all people into midfield, why? Cox would surely have been a better bet than Fraser? Left Loft, Frutos, on all game, etc.
The movement of the players was poor, that has to be down to coaching and instruction?

Flinders - 8 - Class, kept it from being 4 or 5
Lynch - 6 - would rather Butters had 'helped' Elphick along personally. One particularly good tackle
Elphick - 6 - was alright, a bit erratic
Mayo - 4 - Had a poor game today (and not just 'because he's Mayo' either)
Rehman - 6 - fairly lively
Frutos - 5 - runs and runs but doesn't get anywhere with his head down
Bertin - 4 - non existant. Crap
Loft - 6 - probably our best midfield player, but that's not saying much. Good moments and bad moments
El-abd - 5 - didn't dominate as he did last week, probably as he was ridiculously out of position
Savage - 6 - good first half, didn't do anything of note in the second. Didn't look like scoring though
Revell - 5 - can't recall him doing anything other than chasing down one lost cause. Not helped by no service.

Fraser - why?
Elder - did he touch it?
Robinson - NOT a winger

Manager - 2 - for a) being a stubborn idiot and not giving Hart a chance, at least on the bench, b) for apparently 'throwing toys out of the pram' at half time, only for us to concede immediately c) El-Abd right wing?! d) crap use of substitutes

Doncaster, however, were quite good.

Flinders 8 A class act.

Rehman 7 Did his job efficiently
Elphick 6 OK but not dominant in the air.
Lynch 7 Good game tried non stop.
Mayo 4 Poor performance

Loft 6 One of his better games but still not wortha new contract.
El Abd 5 Did all he had to without getting excited.
Bertin 5 His worse game for us.
Frutos 4 Odd good moments but not convincing.

Revell 5 Didn't win anything overall poor performance.
Savage 5 Same as Revell not the answer for next season ball control is very poor.

Subs:

Fraser 5 Did what we know he can do but no over impressive.
Robinson 5 Looked fed up.
Elder 4 Didnt see him do anything when he came on.

Can somebody explain why the 2 DWs get a sub ready and have him sitting on the bench for another 5 or 10 minutes before bringing him on. I would have thought that if they had decided they wanted him on then they should do it imediately.

Flinders - 8 The best player by a long way and he belongs to palace
Lynch - 7 Better with every game he plays. We have to fight to keep him.
Elphick - 6 All for giving the young lad a go so wont be to hard on him
Mayo - 4 Gave the ball away and missed to many tackles
Rehman - 5 how did he get MOM???
Frutos - 5 Only produced 2 good free kicks
Bertin - 5 A poor display by his usual standars but another potential star
Loft - 5 Failed to impress in the midfield despite some bloke a few rows infront of me getting very excited over him.
El-abd - 5 A good defender, A Poor Midfielder. Wilkins looking for another Hart and failing.
Savage - 6 A lively start but like a client in a waiterless restraunt. He lacked service.
Revell - 5 Another who failed to get the ball from his midfield who decided they would rather pass to the doncaster players than their strikers.

Fraser - 4 Obviously a wilikins favourite
Elder - 3 Struggled
Robinson - 5 Ran his arse off but Jose doesnt play drogba on the wing, Ferguson doesnt play saha on the wing

Hope Wilkins hears the Gary Hart song

Does anyone actually know why OGH wasn't in the squad today, or are we all just going to lay into Deano for leaving him out?

Flinders 7 - very good keeper

Rehman 6 - not bad, got forward a bit
Elphick 6 - a good debut, very vocal and good in the air
Lynch 6 - not bad, but not a captain i think. cadamarteri caused him some problems
Mayo 3 - dreadful.

Loft 4 - he is just not good enough. manages to get acclaim for doing things that should just be a given i.e. passing to a player on your own team
Bertin 6 - not a great game, unlike him to have so many stray passes
El-Abd 5 - huffed and puffed but didn't really get anywhere. unlucky to get booked
Frutos 4 - bemused by his spectacular dip in form

Savage 6 - one of the better players on the day i thought. kept trying and kept the ball well
Revell 5 - good shot in first half, a few nice lay-offs but we were dreadful going forward today, the ball rarely reached him.

Fraser - 5
Robinson - 5
Elder - 5

Make your mind up. Loft was actually capable of keeping posession today, but because this is apparently an 'offence' to be rated for, he scores a 4. Bertin however does sod all except give the ball away, and as a result gets a 6.

SM agree completely with you assessment... except Adam El Abd wasn't booked... Loft was for kicking the ball away (I think).

Well, he's not injured, or banned, but hasn't been in the squad for how long now?

Obviously it's not Deano who's leaving him out though is it?:jester:

Quite right. Maybe he isn't training well or in a spell of bad form? It would be wiser to know the facts, before crucifying Deano for leaving out our 'saviour'. Don't get me wrong, I am a fan of his.

DTG questioned 'Is Wilkins being told to play Loft' because quite frankly he was 'turd and did very little!

Fcuk off back to Hastings! He is shit.

Ah well, Dave the 'voice of the fans' Gaffer has spoken then! He must be right!

Although interestingly enough he's yet to be on here praising the 'new Makelele'....
