Kuipers - 9 MoM
Whing - 6 Got caught out a few times on the ball and didn't learn after the umpteenth time the Swansea player ran it down the wing and then cut inside (a la Cox)
Lynch - 7 very assured
Elphick - 6 solid and good in the air.
Richards - 6 Another no frills performance where not much went wrong.
Robinson - 5 not his best game. Seemed lost
Fraser - 6 Good tackler but not a midfield general
Loft - 6 Didn't do any blunders, didn't do any eye-catching footie either
Cox - 7 Lots of creative play. Just please learn to get your corners past 1st man
Forster 6 Looked tired. Heart wasn't in it
Murray 6 Ran into a lot of spaces, lots of off the ball movemnt. Another day he woul have scored

Ref - 4 Another crap ref
Crowd - 6 Good atmosphere but outsung by Swansea
Weather - 8 Lovely sunny day
Chips - 2 Much better than usual

Michel 10 - They could have had 3 or 4 today.
Whing 7 - Did well, as midfield was shocking leaving Whing exposed.
Elphick 8 - Did well against a strong mobile Swansea front line, as above with midfield.
Lynch 7 - As above.
Richards 7 - As above.
Robinson 4 - Shocking, lightweight defensively poor and gave little going forward.
Fraser 4 - Men against boys.
Loft 4 - Men against boys, far to light weight.
Cox 7 - Used ball well at times and put in a few good crosses.
Forster 7 - Most lightly to score, did a few clever things.
Murray 6 - Quiet but little service as we were dominated in midfield.

Subs - Pointless with the time remaining.

Martot should have started alongside Fraser with Dixon out wide instead of Robinson.

7th is a great acheivement and will look even greater next season unless we sign 2 central midfielders in the summer.

Problem yesterday was our midfield ... or lack of it ... but then with Thomson, Racon and Westlake missing?? Shows just how important our loan players were!

Kuipers 9 MOM (What the hell game were the sponsors watching giving it to Cox?)

Whing 7. Needs to improve his distribution. In the first half, lots of time, he booted it down the line and out of play. Pathetic.

Elphick 7. Great in the air. Solid defensive display.

Lynch 8. Only one small slip, otherwise a strong performance. Dominant defensively and some excellent distribution.

Richards 6. Would have given higher (distribution generally top class), but responsible for the Swansea goal due bad marking.

Robinson 5. One good cross. Not much else. His game has gone backwards this season.

Fraser 4. Very poor. Passing was awful. Slow. Did not read the game. And we were told that central midfield was his best position?

Loft 6. Not a bad effort. Just maybe worth keeping.

Cox 7. The best of a poor midfield, but nothing special.

Forster 6. With no support from midfield what could he do?

Murray 7. Some nice touches, but tough with such a poor midfield.

They say it's a game of opinions, but I'm surprised at how negative people are about Fraser on here. OK, he doesn't play the killer pass often enough, but I thought his work-rate, tenacity and ball-winning yesterday was at least worthy of a 6! Murray on the other hand was virtually anonymous and never attempted to win the 50/50 balls - very disappointing.

Richards or Kuipers were the only candidates for MOM yesterday IMO.

Kuipers 7 Did quite well doing what he is paid for, stopping shots.
Whing 6 OK defensively but attrocious distribution, not the player he was when he first arrived from Coventry.
Elphick 6 Did what we have come to expect of him, defended well
Lynch 6 OK no serious blunders and nothing exceptional.
Richards 7 Probably the best defender. Would be an asset if we could sign him.
Robinson 6 Showed some good touches and won a number of headers!! but not inspiring.
Fraser 5 OK, won the ball but was not dominant enough
Loft 3 Did absolutely nothing Complete waste of space get rid asap.
Cox 7 The only player who appeared to want to try. Cornerk kicks very poor.
Murray 5 Didnt look interested appearred more interested in the game finishing and him going home to Rochdale.
Forster 6 Slightly more interested than Murray but not much.

Subs : Pointless felt that if the likes of Butters, Hart and Mayo are not going to be offered contracts, as has been suggested on here, they should have been subs and brought on near the end of what was a pointless game. Perhaps that indicates they are not leaving!!!

Overall impression poor end of season nothing to play for display and had Swansea been on song we would have had another Stoke.

Is this the Richards who cost us the goal?

'Cost us the goal' is probably putting it a tad strongly, but I agree he was well skinned by their right-winger. Other than that I don't think he put a foot wrong. His distribution and calmness on the ball sets him apart from our other defenders.

Kuipers - 9 Superb.

Whing - 6 Not bad.
Elphick - 7 Solid display.
Lynch - 8 Handled Scotland very well.
Richards - 7 Played well but was skinned for the goal, that winger looked very lively though.

Robinson - 3 Did nothing, one good chance is the only thing I can think of he did in the game, took it on his left and scuffed it when he had time to bring it on to his better foot.
Fraser - 5 Not too bad considering it was really just him in the middle against the Swansea midfield.
Loft - 3 Awful, no football brain whatsoever, he is non league through and through. Why did he even play??
Cox - 7 Lively, only creative outlet really but him Forster and Murray looked dangerous, first half especially. Shit corners though.

Murray - 7 Ran the channels and tried to make things happen, maybe could have done better with one of his first half headers. Starved of service second half.
Forster - 7 Same as Murray.
