What a load of rubbish!

Sullivan 6. Not bad display, but his ill-judged throw out to Richards resulted in their second goal.

Whing 6. OK defensively, distribution poor as usual.

Elphick 7. OK, but didn't look his dominant former self. Needs a better defender alongside him in the centre.

Hinsh 4. Disasterous pass-back/own-goal. I think defenders are taught at about eight years old never to pass back between the posts. Otherwise OK, but not tall enough for a central defender.

Richards 6. Fairly good going forward, but defensively he is not good enough. Skinned twice by their winger. We need to find a better LB.

Fraser 2. What a waste of space. Did absolutely nothing of note. Why the hell did Adams pick him to play on the right (if that is where he was playing) when we had two better wingers on the bench and another (Jakey) not even in the squad? He should never ever see the first team starting line-up again.

Johnson 6. OK, I guess, but certainly didn't shine.

ElAbd 7. Not a bad game and even some decent passes.

Cox 8. MOM, but still managed at least one crap free kick. At least he found himself some room to collect passes from defense and a lovely cross for the goal.

Forster 7. Did OK. Well taken goal. Why was he substituted?

Murray 6. One of his more frustrating performances. Needs to put more effort into his game.

Manager 1. Selecting Fraser on the right was a crap decision. Not substituting him at HT was another bad decision. Waiting until the last ten minutes to make substitutions when the players on the pitch were devoid of ideas was a third lousy decision. He should do the decent thing and walk!

El Abd 4 - if he's a midfielder so am I. WHAT DOES HE DO?

Fraser 0 - as I told this site two years ago he will never be a pro player. As usual with this club, we'll waste four years working it out.

Forster 7 - our best player I thought. Feel sorry for him.

Murray 5 - not great but I feel sorry for anyone upfront in our team. I hope he leaves in Jan because he deserves so much better than our shitty club.

Sullivan 6 - Kicking not up to usual standards but good with the few crosses he had to deal with. Neither goal his fault.

Whing 4 - Can this man pass a football to a member of the same team?! Poor again, cant remember a good performance from his this year.

Elphick 6 - Did OK, needs to be more composed on the ball.

Hinshelwood 4 - Shocking own goal, just his luck. No excuse for it though.

Richards 3 - See Whing comment.

Cox 6 - Most creative player in adams mastermind mindfield selection, played well great assist

Johnson 5 - good player but has lacked effort the last few weeks..doesnt care...why would he?!

El Abd 6 - The performance of a centre back playing central midfield giving 100%...shame he is constantly played there really.

Fraser 3 - Did he do anything the whole game?! You cannot tell me he was a better option than Thornton/Loft. Why right midfield?!

Forster 7 - Hard work and great header for the goal.

Murray 6 - Shit service as usual, good play when he was actually passed the ball. Can't blame him if he leaves in January, I think I would.

Give it some prospective here, they hardly had any shots so giving the defence low marks is a bit shit really. Hinsh, bar the O.G, was comfortable as was Elphick. Richards got skinned every time so deserves the lowest mark of the lot

Sullivan - 6 Solid, very strong claiming the ball from crosses or though kicking was hit and miss

Whing - 6 Tough challenege against Yeates, passing not at his best
Hinshelwood - 6 Unlucky with the own goal, ok
Elphick - 7 Strong against Platt who was good in the air but pants overall
Richards - 6 Ok, to easy to get past at times

Fraser - 5 Not a winger but cant fault his commintment
Johnson - 5 Very disappointed with him today, just went missing for long periods and had no spark about him
El-Abd - 6 Good tackling but passing will never cut open a defence
Cox - 7* My mom, was everywhere and great cross for the goal

Murray - 6 Ref gave him nothing when he was consistantly being pulled pushed etc.
Forster - 6 Well taken goal, lots of running captains performance.

Subs - not enough time

Ref - 5 some very good decisions, mainly the advantage he gave in the build up to our goal, but undone them with sloppy ones.

It was a poor result against a not very good team.

Sullivan - 6 - Thought his handling was pretty much spot on. Don't think either of the goals were particularly his fault, but his kicking was nothing special.

Whing - 6 - I thought he was OK particularly in the first half.

Hinshlewood - 4 - Felt a bit sorry for him but it was a dreadful mistake.

Elphick - 5 - Nothing special. Looks a bit casual at times, got the ball taken off him in the second half which could have been costly. Distribution poor.

Richards - 5 - OK coming forward but caught out defensively. If we had another left back perhaps he could play midfield.

Fraser - 5 - I feel sorry for Fraser. Wilkins stuck him out on the right wing and it is clearly not a position at which he is very good. Now Adams insists on doing the same. His best games have been in central midfield. You cannot fault his committment.

El-Abd - 6 - Another player clearly not in his best position. Gives it everything but the fact he can still get a game in midfield speaks volumes on how poor our midfield is.

Johnson - 4 - Showed today just what is wrong with short term loan players. I don't think he wanted to be at a cold Withdean today. At least Fraser and El-Abd play like they care.

Cox- 6 - Got in a lot of good positions but cannot beat a player or cross a ball with his left foot. Obviously not great assets for a left winger.

Forster - 7 - MOM. Scored a good goal, hit the bar. Put plenty of effort into it. Not sure you could have asked much more of any forward today.

Murray - 6 - Some good hold up play but did look a bit lethargic today. Should have done better with the free header.
