Henderson 7 A few more excellent instinctive saves. Gutting that for the second time in a row we concede a goal split seconds after a magnificent save by him.

Harty 6 Had the hardest job of the night keeping Quinn quiet but stuck to his task well and never flagged.
Butters 6 Another consistent performance
McShane 7 Aggressive and classy
Reid 7 Still looking good in his unusual role, came forward well

Carole 8 Another sparkling display, shame he got kicked out of the game.
Hammond 5 His first average game, shocking miss two games in a row now.
Chippy 6 Worked hard against classier opponents, a superb free kick that deserved more, brilliant stop by Kenny, summed up our night.
Jarrett 8 My MOTM, fine attacking display and much more danger in his crosses.

Knight 6 Didn't have the opportunities of Saturday except for a half-chance at the end.
Robinson 5.5 Two one-on-ones where he fails to hit the target, and an air shot in the second half ended a frustrating evening for him. Still, as the cliche goes, did well to get in those positions.

Frutos 6 Rubbish first shot but looked lively if not quite the touch of his French mate.
Kazim-Richards 6 Strong and offers something different
Elphick our new targetman centre forward.

Henderson 8 - outstanding save in the first half, solid game again. booked for shouting at the ref, good man...

Reid 7 - looked all right going forward
Butters 7 - fairly quiet again
Mcshane 8 - Solid. booked
Hart 7 - good second half after shaky start. booked outrageously

Carole 7 - unlucky to be taken off. most attacks through him but final ball poor.
CHippy 6 - looked off the pace at times imho
Hamond 6 - steady game, missed a sitter
Jarrett 7 - looked bright but lazy

Knight 6 - not his fault, too many balls in the air for him, missed a good late chance
Robinson 6 - missed 2 good chances in first half

Frutos 6 - looked lively
CKR - 6 - lots of running

Ref - 1 - utter DISGRACE

Other than that we played well, deserved at least a point but our finishing was lacking. We need a target man

Of what I've seen and thats not a lot I still don't think he'll be half as effective as Virgo was. CKR looks a bit lightweight and the rest are midgets!

I don't think the team played the second half any worse than they did at Leeds but Sheff Utd were a better team than Leeds.
The refereeing was awful and didn't allow the game to flow. Players were getting booked for ludicrous things (Gary Hart?)
Even our lovely Malc was booked?

Sod the targetman, we're playing well as we are, why change a good thing. All we'll do with a targetman is lump the ball up front. What is this fixation with a big man upfront. This division is littered with slow defenders who will cack themselves when they play us. Sheff utd certainly didn't look happy with how we played.
They started time wasting in the first half.
