Lets just face it that vile free loading rich kid Elphick was to blame yet again.Just too many crap players on championship money. The fans should start to wake up after what Liveremore said about the big money their all on at the club. Most other clubs wouldn't pay them 50% of he said.

Mine would be:

Kuipers 7
Painter 8
Virgo 8
Elphick 6
Calderon 7
Lua Lua 7
Crofts 7
Navarro 7
Bennett 8
Murray 8
Holroyd 7

If this game had finished after 80 mins, these would all be 8 & 9, gutted we couldn't see it through...

Kuipers 6- a good save in 1st half, but never comes for crosses and this puts our defence under pressure.
Calderon 7- played well, lots of comittment, good defending and got forward when could.
Elphick 5.5- average, at fault for their 2nd goal as I think Doherty was his man. Well Kuipers gave him a bollocking anyway.
Virgo 7- won most things in the air, and looked strong.
Painter 6- did ok, got forward a lot. Poor positioning when their player ran through in 1st half.
Bennett 7- lots of running, good freekick, always in good positions to receive ball.
Navarro 6- standard navarro performance, hard work, broke up play and did ok.
Crofts 7- played well, but some dodgy shooting. a couple of runs where he beat 2 men.
Lualua 6- exciting player, looks to run with the ball every time he gets it. should be a good signing.
Holroyd 6- lively, quick and did well to set up murray when he went round keeper. bullied a bit by their two massive centre backs.
Murray 6- missed his customary sitter from 4 yards when the keeper was lying on the floor. However, lots of effort and hard work has dragged it up to a 6. MOM? i dont think so.

Subs:
Carole 3- shocking. i don't think he did anything right, liability defending, lightweight, and offered nothing going forward.
Dicker 6- fancy footwork, dont remember him doing anything significant.
Hart 6- ran around but only touched the ball a couple of times.

Poyet 5- Baffling substitution (Carole on for Holroyd), which may well have cost us the game. Has to get rid of Carole, and if Cox is going i'm going to be seriously pissed off. He would have been the much better option to bring on yesterday.

Kuipers - 7 - Not at fault for the 2nd, this was just rank bad defending. Doherty had a clear run and outmuscled Elphick, thus effectively having a free header.

Calderon - 7- Played well.
Virgo - 7 - Very committed.
Elphick - 5 - Forwards with any sort of movement out-think him every time. Plus error for the second goal.
Painter - 7 - Steady. Not one of my favourites, due to lack of pace and general ability, but good game yesterday.

Crofts - 6 - Off-form - quiet
Navarro - 7 - One dreadful pass which put Norwich through, other than that good game
Bennett - 6- Beginning to come back to true form.
Lua Lua - 5 - Unimpressive, but I'm sure will get better.

Holroyd - 7 - worked hard. Put easy chance on plate for Murray.
Murray - 5 - Second time this season (at least), that he's missed a 'sitter'. Effectively has cost us the game. Lazy, though had little protection from referee.

Dicker - 6 - Did ok.
Carole - 4 - Not good enough.
Hart - 4 - Not good enough.

Kuipers 6.5 - one good save
Painter 6.5 - would be a much better option in CB
Virgo 6 - when will he learn that when he gets the ball and hoof's it, the ball goes straight back to them and they are on the attack again.. very over rated, drop him
Elphick 6 - poor
Calderon 6 - not as good as he has been
Lua Lua 7 - good first half, looks promising
Crofts 7 - battled well in the 2nd half
Navarro 6.5 - few good bits, lost the ball alot. Dicker should start ahead of him
Bennett 7.5 - MOM very good in the first half
Murray 6 - poor game
Holroyd 6.5 - not as good as tuesday, still showed some promise, and yet again, our best striker

They all did OK, but that's actually the problem. No-one was outstanding. How we could do with a Docherty - he wouldn't have allowed that 2nd goal.

Never been so frustrated with a result - yes we did well against a good side; their 14 was excellent. 9 may be a knob but he puts himself about and upsets the defence. We have it in us, we just gotta get it out there!

Just another thought - why did Carole come on and not Dickenson? WTF was that about?

Kuipers - 6 - didn't think he was to blame, although others have said otherwise
Calderon - 5 - silly free kick to give away, done for the first goal too
Elphick - 5 - 'mare for the second
Virgo - 8 - not sure what's happened to him under Poyet. Good.
Painter - 6 - some good moments down the left
Navarro - 7 - influential game, although a couple of dodgy passes
Crofts - 7 - much better from him, really driving the midfield
Bennett - 7 - all over the park, decent in every position
Lua Lua - 5 - bright first 20 mins, did nothing after that
Murray - 6 - hard work, didn't think he missed a 'sitter', thought it was great defending personally
Holroyd - 5 - created the Murray chance, that was it. Totally bullied off the ball.

Carole - 0 - shit
Dicker - 5 - did nothing

Murray missed from 6 yards out... that is poor and i expect more from a player that cost 300k

So my question to you is, What game were you at? IMO you are wrong...

Murray didnt miss from 6yds out he was on target but the defender did well to save it which was good play from them whether or not he should have blasted it is a different matter, but he didnt miss.

Can't be bothered with all of them. Thought Virgo did well again, 7.5. Painter was impressive 7.5, Crofts had a good game 7, Holroyd tried hard but way out of his depth 5.

what about his early chance when the ball wouldn't sit for him and he shot wide? How far out was he for that? I was in block b so couldn't really tell, perhaps that is the miss the other poster refers to?

I think Murray didn't want to blast it in case he put it over. In which case everyone would go even more mental. The defender got in the way and was a brilliant stop. Better than Dickinson not even getting to the ball .

if a striker is too scared to blast the ball when 6 yards out then he can't be worth 300k can he?
