Henderson - 7- couldn't have done any more for the goals - good penalty save from a powerful shot close to him
Mayo - 6-. Actually showed some passing vision, and wasn't that bad defensively. Gave away penalty apparently
Lynch 6 - too slow reacting to penalty, gave away penalty (edit: apparently not. sodding rain!))
Butters 6 - too slow reacting to penalty, good in air
Rents - 6- good first half, didn't get involved in the second.
(note - 4 left sided defenders - asking for trouble)
El-abd - 6 - passing was dreadful. Some good tackling
Hammond - 5 - looked ill. No movement
Cox - 6- shouldn't have been booked, tried hard to create something
Robinson - 7 - Looked lively, almost scored goal of the season
Gatting - 6- took his goal well, quiet in the second half though as he looked tired. Needed more midfield support.
Revell - 5- worst game i've seen from him, didn't appear to do anything at all.

(I don't know who got the assist due to the rain blocking my glasses, but they can have an extra half mark or so!)

The main issue though - WHY did Wilkins take so long to change things, and then only make a straight swap at right back!?!?

Mayo gave away the penalty :nono:

He's hopeless, he really is - did his best to send us out the league with THAT own goal and out of business and still he's forgiven each inept performance he churns out.

Cox - 5- huffed and puffed but not strong enough and too small
Robinson - 6 - Looked lively, almost scored goal of the season- appears low on confidence- selfish
Gatting - 6- took his goal well, v quiet in the second half though as he looked tired. Needed more midfield support.
Revell - 5- worst game i've seen from him, didn't appear to do anything at all.

Piss poor again. The dropping of Fraser was long overdue, and Carpenter's exclusion is always a bonus, but the eleven fraudsters out there were almost as bad.

spot on TCB:clap2: :clap2: :clap2:

I thought they all played reasonably well today, certainly a better performance than Yeovil.

And i thought Mayo did very well today considering he isnt a right back and cant use his right foot.

Lots of posession, created bugger all.

Defensively dire, surely El-abd at right back with Mayo in midfield would have been a better bet, even if he's not a right back What was Wilkins playing at?! Not making any attacking changes when we were losing either? I don't get it!

Henderson 6 - nothing he could do about the goals, let down again by the defence. decent penalty save
Mayo 4 - was dire, and people said mcghee played people out of position! sheer incompotence on the part of wilkins
Lynch 5 - the most over rated player to wear a brighton shirt?
Butters 5 - positional sense served him well, but yet again exposed for pace
Rents 5 - completely off the pace
Robinson 7 - most lively player we had, anything created was going to come from him
Hammond 7 - worked his socks off, had to cover the whole midfield due to el abds sheer ineptness.
El Abd 3 - not the midfielder he was a few weeks back, out of the game for large parts and completely ineffective
Cox 5 - his game was ruined after being booked for diving, simply because any time after that if he beat the man and got bought down their was always a chance he would be booked again
Revell 5 - annonymous, worked hard but got nowhere
Gatting 6 - lively, decent goal, but seemed to lack an understanding with revell

:lolol: :lolol: This made me laugh!!!

So you are saying after cox got a yellow for a blatent dive he stopped playing football incase he took it passed someone then got bought down and the ref thought it was another dive and sent him off!! I don't think he could of given a f*** about being sent off against carlisle on a pissing cold and wet day at withdean when he had just lost his chance of playing Westham!!

Hendo 7 - great penalty save, sound in tricky conditions

Rents 6 - good in patches
Butters 6 - solid enough
Lynch 6 - defended well, a couple of dodgy moments
Mayo 5 - difficult position, but made several mistakes

Cox 6 - erratic, some woeful free-kicks
El Abd 7 - decent game
Hammond 7 - likewise
Robinson 7 - lively, if inconsistent

Revell 5 - rarely involved
Gatting 6 - decent goal, poor first touch

hendo- couldnt do anything for the goals, good pen save, all kicks bar one were good. 6
mayo- quite good sometimes...but then did somethin shit, not a right back. 5
lynch- not very good, didnt think about the pass, bit slow. 5
butters- slow, but good in the air. 6
rents- i thought he was poor today, off the pace, and got out-paced too many times. 5
cox- not as good as he normally is, shame he dived. 6
hammond- one of the better players. 7
el-abd- worked well, i like the elabd\hammond partnership. 6 n a half
robinson- had a cracking shot hit the bar, but crossing was over hit too many times. 6
gatting- too slow but took his goal well. 7
revell- didnt think he worked as hard as he normally does, was clean through on goal but couldnt get shot away. 6
