in the 2nd half we missed cullip. unless it was mcghees orders. no body was bringing the defence out at all. i would blame butters or mcghee for this. we were defending far too deep. so not getting forward enough. apart from 1st 5 and last 10 mins of 2nd half.

Roberts 6: Did not have a chance for either goal, seems far better on crosses
Virgo 7 Apart from going AWOL for their winner
Harding 6 Shaky start then improved
Cullip 6 Looked solid throughout and missed in second half
Butters 7 Lead from the back after Danny went off
Jones 7 Mazy at times and great shot in second half
Oatway 6 Battled but no creativity
Chippy 7 Another Chippy wonder strike
Knight 5 Looked disinterested and let the crowd get to him
Lee 6 Not as bad as people make out but not as hard working as OGH
Iwelumo 7 Won a lot of balls both in the air and on the ground

Roberts 6 good save,no chance with either goal.
Virgo 6 - seemed to loose his way at central defender
Harding 6 - didn't look as confident
Cullip 7 - missed him 2nd half
Butters 7 - solid again
Jones 6 - good effort right foot, not involved enough
Oatway 5 - given the run around 2nd half
Carpenter 6 - great goal
Lee 5 - what did you expect ?
Knight 4 - muscled out of the game
Iwelumo 5 - well marked

El-Abd 7 - went forward well

McGhee 6 - no tactical changes,How did he expect Lee to last a whole game ?

Fans - started well, some deserted them, when the side needed backing most, mid way through 2nd half.Good turnout.

I'll go along with Fran's votes here except I'll give Roberts 6.5 (the guy standing behind me felt everthing was Robert's fault today! I thought he has a good game but felt he could have done more with the first goal).

I probably wouldn't have give Lee such a high mark!

Otherwise tend to agree!

Roberts - not to blame with either goal, strong otherwise (8)
Defence very good anything less than 7/8 for each is an insult. Virgo possibly at fault for winner but otherwise MOM
Midfield - missing in second half Chippy trying to do the work of 3 men. No support otherwise. Lee, Oatway and Jones all the same 4/5
Leon Knight - lacked effort, more concerned with rolling over faking injury. Rightly booed off by Sheff Wed fans.
Iwelumo - triedhard, no support from Knight or midfield (7)

He made one good save but should have stopped, or at least tried to, the first goal.

I thought Iwelumo did well.He won every header in the first half but the service dried up and he couldnt really do a lot in the 2nd.

Have to agree with you there! He hardly kept us in the game?!?! One fairly standard save and that was it!

He also did a crap throw to Jones which put us under presure in the first half.

Not the official view. "Brunt stepped up to curl an unstoppable shot past Ben Roberts" "Twice in the second half however. Roberts was called upon to dive at the feet of Lewis McMahon but on both occasions the Albion keeper got the better of the opponent".

Butters said: "Ben Roberts was also brilliant. With the goal he told me that one of their strikers took a touch and Ben thought it was him who was going to switch and turn but, instead, Mustoe stuck out a toe and it went in off his toe and wrong footed Ben. I couldn't believe it when I saw it going in. When it comes off the toe it can go anywhere and unfortunately it went in the net."

Kuipers let in four at Northampton (Reserves!)
