I can't see how any player could be improved in that short time. More importantly some can't be improved regardless of the time or who is the manager. A combination of Ferguson, Wenger and Capello couldn't improve some of them. Everyone has a limit to their talent.

I thought they looked much sharper than against Hartlepool (the only other game I've seen this season). Tunnicliffe quite often managed to head the ball in the right direction and the rest kept it down and moved it around pretty well. Sadly Graeme Smith gave the game to Norwich in the second minute and spent the next 88 looking miserable and lost - not what a leaky defence wants to see behind it. We were a yard slower than Norwich all over the pitch. We were playing a decent, on-form side in front of a big crowd. 3-1 would have been a fair result. Shame about the fourth...
