I never understand why only people at the game can have a valid opinion on player ratings, surely everyone that watched it live on the box would have as good if not better judgement with the aide of replays etc?

You're not a real fan if you watched it at home, clearly. No opinions for you.

Stockdale - 7 - "maybe" could have done something with the penalty and a couple of those awful clearances out to the wing that go straight out but a brilliant one handed save in the first half and not really troubled after that.
Bruno - 8 - Class
Greer - 8 - Showed how good he actually is and what he brings to the team.
Dunk - 7.5 - Usual for me. Some class, some not.
Rosenior - 6.5 - Steady enough in defence but disappointing going forward.
Solly - 6 - Started ok but very little second half.
Kayal - 9 - He and Stephens showed Barton how to run the midfield. Absolute bargain at £300k
Stephens - 8.5 - Not quite as dynamic as kayal but tidied up in midfield.
Murphy - 6 - Disappointing. Either not wanting to take a man on, not running into space or going up a blind alley with the ball. Know he can play better than that.
BZ - 8.5 - Some great hold up play and scored.
Hemed - 5.5 - Showed little. Not sure when to stop giving him the benefit of the doubt.

JFC - 6 - Came on "Just behind the striker" where he plays for England U21s, but did very little. Just didnt seem to want to get too involved.
Elvis - 6.5 - Did little but would like to see him get a chance as cant be worst than how some are playing at the moment.

All in all, a very good performance when missing at least 3 regular starters. Back 7 is sorted just need Lua Lua back and a bit of something up front.

Wasn't there, but watched it on a stream:

Stockdale 8 -- one world class save, distribution mostly OK (although sometimes he over-hits that ball to the advanced full-back) and calm with the ball
Bruno 7.5 -- class again, and solid
Greer 8 -- welcome back; one great block
Dunk 7 -- gave Hoops an opportunity, and then continued to do it; classy on the ball; some great challenges
Rosenoir 6 -- fairly solid, quick, but could have done more with the ball
March 4.5 -- one great run for the goal, another shot on target soon after, followed by very little
Kayal 8.5 MotM -- great engine, rapid over short distances, terrier-like in the tackle, skilful, and good distribution
Stephens 8 -- not dissimiliar to Kayal in terms of quality
Murphy 6 -- did OK, carries the ball well, but didn't set much up; falls over too much
Hemed 6 -- lively and caused their centre-backs some real problems, but needs to re-locate the target
Zamora 6.5 -- right place, and some classy touches; got a couple of good headers in the first half too, but tired into the second

JFC 5 -- negligible impact
Manu n/a -- not enough time

CH 8 -- really set us up solid against a side who, although relegated, impressed many in the PL, who have most of the same squad, and have bought a live wire in Gray, who looks as though he should be leading candidate for top scorer

Bruno was my man of the match.
Disappointed with the often brilliant Stephens

Would say these are spot on from what I saw on the box bar Stephens who was far better than 6.5

Would get a 7.5 or 8 from me

We were doscussing mom in the pub & decided it was a real te performance of 7s all round. Having said that I'd go lower on Murphy and possibly higher on Rosenior who was superb...

From tv, if you don't want my opinions then fair do's.

Stockdale 7

Bruno 8
Greer 8
Dunk 6.5
Rosenior 7

March 6
Kayal 8
Stephens 7
Murphy 5

Hemed 5
Zamora 7.5

That's how I saw it too.

Disappointed in both our wingers, two decent centre forwards on the pitch and not enough decent service.

As an aside, I thought out delivery from free kicks and corners was poor too, with far too many over hit free kicks.

Just got back after a horrendous journey - just love the 50mph speed limits!!!

Stockdale 7 poor kicking into touchline
Bruno 7.5 classy
Rosenior 7 Solid
Greer 8 Showed his experience, and would have not realised he has been out for a nimber of games.
Dunk 7.5 Good battle with Grey, and compossed on the ball
Kayal 8.5 Industrious
Stephens 7 a little lost compared to other games
March 6.5 a little light weight, needs to be stronger.
Murphy 6.5 always get excited when he gets the ball and starts to run but..... looked naked as decide on a few occassions not to chase the ball.
Hemed 6.5 Ok
Zamora 7.5 knows where the goal is, nice hold up play

Caskey 6
Manu 6

Thought we played well, a good game to watch. A good point though.
