What a disappointment. The players really let the club and the fans down today. Great pre-game atmosphere with the flags and streamers and interviews with Storer, Bobby and Peter Ward. Then over to the players and what did they serve up? Mostly rubbish. And the manager gets no credit whatsoever for selecting Skalak ahead of March and Murphy. What the hell was his thinking behind that decision?

Stockdale 8. One superb save towards the end. Otherwise a bit too much punching for my liking.
Bruno 5. One joke of a cross right at the end just about summed up his day.
Dunk 8. Mostly dealt with Abraham OK, but struggled at times.
Hunemeir 7. Decent performance.
Bong 7. I thought he played well, but some on here think otherwise.
Kayal 6. Nowhere near his best. Lack of ball control plus some poor passing.
Stephens 8. His best performance of late.
Knockaert 5. At his most frustrating. Poor corners, poor free kicks, poor decision making.
Skalak 2. Slow. Fell over a lot. Awful.
Murray 7. Not his best game, but tough to play well with such dross around him.
Hemed 3. Slow. Won nothing in the air. nowhere near premier league standard.

Subs:
March 7. At least tried to get the game going.
Sidwell 6. OK.
Tomori N/A

A real wake up call for those who think this group of players will be able to cut it in the Premier League.

Knockaert, Kayal, Hemed and Skalak in particular really underperformed. Wouldn't be surprised if that's the last we see of Skalak, he was woeful and totally lost it again.

Crossing from Bruno and Bong was very poor, though Flint had an excellent game for them. Hemed looked very sluggish.

Stephens the best of a bad bunch.

Thought Murray was up for it. Put himself about trying to get the win. Stephens was easily the best player on the pitch.

But then who gives a F**k, we are Brighton and Hove Albion and We Are Going Up :albion2:

Dunk, Uwe, Stephens, Murray - 7's
March, Stockdale, Bruno, Bong - 6's
Rest 5's

Overall, not a great performance. Played into their hands by crossing the ball to their CB Flint. Would like to have seen our wingers mix it up a bit more and run at the fullbacks as oppose to aimless crosses which happened on several occasions

generaly disppointing for last game of season at home, especially Knockaert who seemed more interested in berating the ref second half

Very fair ratings. Honest about those who were awful on the day. Except I was one of those disappointed with Bong.

So many crosses hit the first defender I thought a Dean Cox tribute act had been hired for the match.

Probably our worst performance at The Amex since Brentford - especially from our forwards and wingers.

Stockdale - 7 (some good saves but too much punching)
Bruno - 5
Hunemeier - 7
Dunk - 7
Bong - 5
Skalak - 4
Stephens - 7
Kayal - 5
Knockaert - 6
Hemed - 5
Murray - 5

March - 6
Sidwell - 7

What has happened to Kayal? He gave away the ball so often yesterday. Bruno occasionally has an off day - that was certainly one of them. Thought our two centre halves plus Stephens, were really the only outfield players to come out of yesterday with any credit.

Perhaps the other players played bobbins to make sure the club offers Stephens a good deal. He was excellent (again) yesterday.

If 6 is standard it would IMHO be

Huniemier 7
Dunk 7.5
Stephens 8
Skalak and Kayal 5
6 for the rest.

Tend to agree with this you cannot fault the effort but the imagination was lacking all we did was hit aimless high balls and sometimes not so high balls into the box which there number 4 just dealt with all game we badly missed Ballocks direct running pulling players away allowing the wingers a bit of space
