But what about the amount of SO2 and other aerosols which are spewing into the atmosphere from the volcano? Aren't these affecting the Ozone layer?

Am I alone in not giving a monkeys toss about how much 'carbon' I emit or what my 'footprint' might be? I really don't care less how green my fookin car is or whether i source my energy from friggin carbon neutral wind farms, nor do i give a shite if my plastic milk bottles end up responsibly recycled or shipped to China and put in landfill.

thats nice. but apparently the last time this bad boy erupted there was widespread crop failure across europe as the emissions blocked sunlight. theres more to atmospheric science than CO2.

The PM and cabinet are allegedly discussing the possibility of the government needing to bail out some airlines due to the volcano.

That being the case, I would say it is a win to the volcano.

Oh, and I would hope that the sandwitches are free on govenment owned airlines!
