Really? I loved it! Fantastic food, friendly people, lots to see and do and scorching hot (in July).

Yes I have been to New York City and it was ok but not as good as I expected it to be. Is that so hard to believe?

Well certainly friendly compared to other big cities I've been to - particularly London and Paris.

Went to a kiddies theme park on the edge of Brighton once. Went expecting playstations, ball pits, endless child orientated entertainment, no drinking. Was really shocked when it turned out to be a football stadium.
