Did the stadium tour there a while back and very good.

I believe they had started to build a new stadium but stopped in typical Spanish style.

We weren’t seated all the way at the top, but the wife and I attended a match at the Mestalla last month and didn’t mind how steep the upper stands were. To be fair, it might have been a different story had we gotten pissed before the game :lolol: Only real complaint was that we had to stand up to see clearly the action in the box at our end.

I remember the game finished 1- 1. I also remember lots of people eating nuts and putting the shells on the floor.
Sure that wasn’t Watford away a few years ago? If so, that would have been me as I bought my son a burger in Five Guys but took loads of the free peanuts to eat in the ground.

I don't fancy top right or left at this one.

Not dangerous. Just miles away.

And how many balls do they lose?

I love a steep stand, me.

One of my bugbears with the Amex is the shallow rake of the stands. Far better and more intimidating to have them steeper, hanging over the pitch.

Sunflower seeds. You're only allowed to eat those or Boccadillos which you bring wrapped in foil at Spanish matches.
Was at the Mestella the May before last and had a wander around via a Magic Door. Fantastic city, unique stadium.

You must love the intense cosiness of Wet Sham away then.
Only been once and that was enough. Its clearly not a football stadium, and that outdoor "concourse" (basically open air except for a canvas sheet tied over the top) was fairly grim on a freezing February afternoon.
