[Technology] Pixel2 phone

Has anyone got a Pixel 2 phone and had the following problem

Switched on and it keeps ''hanging'' as though it is trying to switch in but won't continue through with the process

Tried holding the on button to switch off but wont switch off either.

Thought about trying to remove the batter but cant get the back off either. Was gonna take to phone shop but all closed at the moment.

Any suggestions except smash it against the wall which is what I feel like doing with it ?

Would not happen with an Omsung phone

Give Google's support line a call and get a replacement sent to you. There's a two year warranty on the phone.

Try holding volume down, then press the power button for a few seconds. This should boot into recovery mode.

If successful, "clear cache" and reboot. It should hopefully then work. If not, contact Google as above.
