Saw Wobble at a talk on the seafront in the summer, was very interesting and he said then he would not do PiL again.

I saw that thread which put me onto getting a ticket...cheers for that

After seeing the Pistols at Brixton, Lydon's got all the chrisma compared to fatty Jones, Cook and Matlock who just stood/sat there so the fact that there's no Wobble etc is hardly gonna be too much of a negative

PiL has always been Lydon with whoever. I love Wobble and Levene, but they were only one of the lineups. Smith and t'other guy have possibly been the longest serving members, on and off. Thats the beauty of PiL, being a limited company. I'd love to go, but it could be crap- he's done it before...

I'd recommend Clapham North area for a pre-gig drink rather than looking for somewhere near the Academy.

It's about 10-15 walk through the lanes to the Academy, I'm about 10 minutes away.

I posted a map on here a few months ago, highlighting some of the better drinking holes.
