Agreed but that shouldn't be at the sacrifice of quality. The pies were great first season but have gone noticably downhill over time - less filling, more pastry and often that pastry is hard enough to break your teeth on. It's all well and good growing your business but equally important to keep the quality as you grow.

A great product though, l'll be noshing on a couple of their savoury delights on Sunday.

I don't blame them in the slightest. But it's a shame the quality plummeted when they started mass production having flogged themselves to half the league.

But but but...the Balti pies and Sausage rolls are still better than anything you'd get at most other football grounds.

I haven’t noticed any decline in quality but maybe I’m not a pie connisseur like some on here. I only buy one occasionally but very much enjoyed the steak pie I had at the Watford game.

How much are they at the Amex? I can’t imagine any circumstances under which I’d willingly queue up to hand over the best part of £5 for a re-heated pie in a paper bag.

£4.40. All food and drink at football is expensive, its the way of the world. I think Piglet pies are rather nice. Chicken Balti forever.

Yes others have said the same as you viz a viz quality, but l can't say that l have visibly noticed any downturn, still love the product just as much as l did on the first day.

The Sussex pie was good, also mince, bacon and cheese and shepherds pie. I'd also like a Cornish pasty type pie.

The chilli pie is the guest so often it might as well be on permanently

Shepherd's pies aren't real "pies" in my book. A decided lack of pastry. Not Piglet's territory at all.

Sad to say there wasn't much difference between my soupy steak pie and it's Pukka/Peters/Ginsters alternative.


If IF I can get a Balti and if IF that quality has also dropped then despite being pleased to have a local success story attached to the club, I'll not be handing over any more cash for their products.

McDonalds sell a fair few burgers, are they good?

FWIW, I think they are perfectly fine. Not as amazing some make out but that is the inconsistencies in how they are cooked / stored. When I got some boxes in the pandemic they were good.

Find it amusing that those that complain about the quality are also the ones that moan about the price. Would they pay even more, for something better?
