photos from last game at Goldstone - recognise anyone?

West terrace for me - stood there and cried as I thought it was going to be the end of my club.
I find it difficult to look at the books now - just get really emotional remembering what we were all going through at the time. At least there isn't too long to wait now but I absolutely loathe Withdean and Falmer cannot come soon enough.
Archer and Bellend have a lot to answer for

I can see me in the last photo along with Louie. Now Louie is the guy who got the actual ball from Hereford that Robbie Reinelt scored the equaliser with.
Not long after, he emigrated to Perth in Australia, and last I heard he still has the ball.

I was standing outside in the bitter rain. Didn't go into the ground itself. Priced out by the touts, but couldn't move from where I was standing, despite the gates being opened.

I have just fished out the programme for the game. I had forgotten that Belotti had written a 'heartlfelt' page about falling in love with the Goldstone. What a ****.

Finally been prompted to post after lurking on and off for a while. I still have that programme too but with the Bellotti page torn out. I sent it to him with a suitably worded letter explaining how deeply offensive I found it. Strangely, I didn't get a reply.

Great shots, I'm not on here but three quarters of me got onto the back of 'Build a Bonfire', these pictures are a reminder of how good footie at the Goldstone used to be, fun and fiesty, with an edge.......... until a few weeks later!!!!. Bastards!!

Just scanned some old photos from that day and found these. Forgot a load of people tried to get in the North Stand without tickets and it all kicked off for a bit. Also does anyone know who the two blokes who got the record player?

How old are those decks?!!!!!!
