Would like to think that this isn't true even though its what 90% of fans now believe..but if that is the case why not send all the loanees back and play the reserves/back-up players because we have nothing to lose and they would probably show more fight and passion to the cause

No scr scrapped it.....
Some bloke said he asked Slade why Burchill was not brought on and Slade said because he is injured you dickhead...
Also he said Knight brought some Brighton fans a glass of wine and said we are down and will be in league 2 next year...
Harty said he would try and get both on to ask them about this but before the end of the show nothing
I imagine if that first conversation took place the guy asking Slade about Birchall was perfectly polite and civil, and not in anyway aggressive or confrontational, and in no way was provocative.
As for Knight saying we are down... why is this such a bad thing? How many posters on here have been saying it for weeks, month even. How many people going into today's game seriously thought we had a realistic chance of staying up?

Slade was probably busy bollocking the players/busy with other post match interviews.
Knight hasn't been on the show, and has been reluctant to come on, he also probably had other social engagements (e.g. post match drink with rival chirmn etc).
It was short notice, and we'll probably get a denial/clarification/explation/apology in the coming days.
