The Astral Planes, man...
I didn't make the game today, somehow I knew how it would turn out. But what a load of sh1te the so-called commentary was! Over the 90 minutes we only had about 10 minutes of the actual game. Whoever the nomark was who was on air he spent the rest of the time going around the far flung corners of the empire taking endless pointless reports about Crawley, Eastbourne, Lewes, every other league 1 team, all the Premiershite games, rugby, ladies napkin folding in outer Mongolia... we got the lot, it was a joke. On the odd occasion we ended up in Withdean the 'commentary' went from a Hereford corner to reminding us we were listening to BBC SCR to an Albion free kick in the Hereford half to some other futile anecdote about sod-all to a shot going over the bar... it was chronic rubbish. By the second half I was swearing at the moron and throwing things around the room, what a crock of sh1t, for god's sake bring back Hawsey and fast, if he is not reinstated by Tuesday I'm afraid for the first time in many years I will not be following an Albion game.

I've emailed again but presumably SCR are more interested in pleasing the PC brigade than those that actually listen to their programmes

Let's face it, they only begrudgingly provive coverage as it is. Not they will do the bare minimum, listening figures will fall, as we'll give up, they can then justify pulling the coverage and providing some "local" studio based sports coverage with no emphasis on the Albion.

Listening figures are falling overall, the last thing they need as a station is to lose even more listeners. If you or anybody writes in-remind them of how well they are doing at SCR....

Congratulations to the person/persons who complained to the BBC about Harty-you have ruined the after match experience for Albion fans. Well done!

I could only hack the cack for a couple of minutes before switching to 5 Live.

Was an awful show my brother switched over to five live after about 2 minutes I wonder how many others followed suit.

Two minutes? Bloody hell - he did well. I heard the words "our first stop is Crawley... let's join" *click* ... no thanks. Utter garbage.

Some people on here must be very proud of themselves
Obviously some people who made a big fuss in a thread denying complaining directly to SCR aren't to blame though!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Maybe it was someone on NSP!!!

Whoever it was has ruined Saturday afternoons for a lot of people-not least H&H. I think 'd be a pretty pissed off Seagulls World subscriber if I'd paid expecting an Albion match commentary only to get the utter shit served up since Lickergate.

Some kind of organised petition arranged by somebody who cares more than me, perhaps?
